I'm super confused by the dates on here. This is just listing the restaurants I have booked for November right now. If you look at the dates in BOLD RED, they are in the future. How can he list what the prices will be on 08/28/2014 (Ohana Dinner) and 09/28/2014 (Tusker House Breakfast). Basically, I guess I'm asking how to read this and what should I expect the prices to be for these meals in November?

There are set price increases at certain times of the year that are already set on their computer system. So for Nov I'd plan with the bold red numbers, but if you go during Thanksgiving, it's very possible the price could be higher.

But how accurate are these numbers? For instance someone on here reported that they recently went to Ohana, and the price was $37 per adult, but the table above says that the price should have been $40.46.

Maybe $37 is the price before sales tax?

How do they determine which meal to charge you for? For instance, website says breakfast 8-11:10 and lunch 11:55-3:30. If my reservation is at 11:05 will they charge me for breakfast still, even though I will probably get some lunch(buffet)?

We have had several breakfast reservations after 10:50am and were there well into lunch. We've never been charged lunch, so I think it's dependent on when you sit down or what time your original reservation is for.

I'm really super confused by this....... If I'm going september 16-23rd do I go by 2013 prices or 2014 prices? The way I'm understanding it is 2013 prices because the 2014 don't go into effect until 9/28? Which doesn't make sense because the price listed for CRT would then be wrong. It's listed at 66 a person I PAID 75.....I'm really Confused.

You go by the last date listed prior to your date.
dinner. . . 01/06/2014 Adult: $73.04, Child: $43.25

Hi,
Really helpful thread when figuring out which to pay OOP and which DP.

A couple questions though:
  1. I noticed that the dates show Sept 2014. Are these estimated costs or actual future costs?
  2. If we are going mid Oct, can we assume same price as Sept?
  3. To confirm, some places vary by time of year? e.g. H&V in Sept 2014 is $38.33 and Nov 2013 was $48.98

Thanks.

Could someone please clarify.

Just checking that for 16 June 2014, Boma Dinner would be $40.46?

Dont want to get a nasty surprise and end up with the maximum $59.99 listed on the disney website as I thought mid June was the peak time so the highest price

It seems that in June there is not any seasonal pricing...

From first post:
"WDW BUFFET & AYCTE PRICES, as of 05/01/2014
. . . Dates indicate the day the price change is effective from previous date.
. . . Prices do not include Ala Carte menu items
. . . WDW might be doing straight-pricing.
. . . Thus far, no increase for "peak", but there are some "holiday" days in 2014.
. . . It appears that "seasonal" pricing has disappeared, at least through September.

. . . CRT-HDDR-LUAU-BBQ are "tax & tip included", others are "tax included, tip excluded"

I was expecting there to be an increase of price for dining during my travel in July. Is that not the case? I looked at the dates before and after I am traveling and both are the same. Wouldn't July be prime time, so more expensive?

Also as a side note: does anyone know if Akerhaus has Ariel at breakfast ever? I know she never used to be, but I have not been since 2010.

We were there for breakfast on 5/8. Ariel was one of the princesses that morning. Not sure if she's always there.

Many thanks for this fabulously detailed info! Perhaps a little less thankful that it's so easy to see the not-so-gradual price creep going on. . . You make it much harder to bury my head in the sand :rolleyes1. BUT thanks for making my tip budgeting so much easier.

On that note, have they incorporated the Frozen princesses yet into this dining experience? Seems like a no-brainer to put them at Norway, but last time I called they still weren't part of this restaurant rotation!

No. They do not appear at any meals. Only place to see them is at the Magic Kingdom.
