Are the boats between SSR and Downtown Disney the larger type that allows a stroller to be rolled on or are they the smaller boats for which you need to fold up the stroller? Does SSR share boat service with OKW and how often do the boats run? Thank you!!!

You don't need to fold the stroller and the SSR boat is shared between SSR and THV only.

When the boats are crowded we have been asked to take our dd out of the stroller and store it in the bow of the boat while we sit with her on our lap. When not crowded she gets rolled right in her stroller and we sit on the jump seats that gold down and she stays in her stroller. Depends on the captain and situation.

There are typically two boats running. They do the circuit DTD -> Carriage House -> THV -> Carriage House -> DTD. There should be a boat leaving for DTD every 30 minutes or so.

Thanks so much for the info!! Sound like a long boat ride with all of those stops??

Not long at all. We get on at SSR and it goes straight to DTD. At DTD it goes straight to SSR. Maybe 15 or so mins each way. It's a lovely cruise and we enjoy it a lot.

What happened to the THV stop?

The boat goes from DTD -> SSR -> THV -> SSR -> DTD. If you get on the boat at SSR when it's heading to DTD, you don't stop at THV. Same thing coming back.

The other nice thing about the route is that guests staying in the THV can take the boat to and from the Carriage House without having to go through DTD.

Seems like the schedule may change. In May we went from SSR to THV to DTD. Only rode it once, maybe it's up to the driver or the spacing of the boats.

Bottom line, you will get from SSR to DTD, maybe with a stop at THV. It's a nice ride anyway you look at it. :boat:

Ahhhh well there ya go! We only get on when its heading in the right direction so that's why! Thanks Dave!
