Blue Bayou and Magellan's

We we were able to get reservations at both of these for our trip next month. Now that I have translated the on-line menus, I am not so sure. Are they both prix fixe menus only or do they have other options? Thank you!

I know your trip has passed, but we were able to do walk-up at Magellans and I was very impressed. Everything was delicious and service was wonderful.

Do you remember around what time you ate and how long you waited? I have an upcoming lunch reservation but am thinking of eating dinner there instead.

We went for lunch a little before noon and it was basically a walk-in. They just needed a few minutes and then took us to our table. It was kind of nice NOT to have a reservation to allow for flexibility with premier access/shows. That said, if you have your heart set on it you may want to keep the reservation :)

What did you eat?

Would 2 - 2.25 hours be enough time for dinner? We have "linner" reservations at Blue Bayou (4:30pm) and Magellan's (4:10pm) in early June. I believe the parade will be at 7:30, and we plan on purchasing premier access, if available. Not sure what our dinner plans would be, especially at Disneyland, if we don't go for a sit-down restaurant. It's hard to find recent information about menus, etc.

That's plenty of time for Blue Bayou. If you're willing to stand rather than sit, it's not difficult to get a spot for the electrical parade. Magellan's is a bit more iffy. You wouldn't miss Believe but it'd be harder to get a good spot if you're a slow eater.

Food does come out quite quickly since the menu isn't huge.

The TDR website seems to be very up-to-date. You will need to translate the menus though. That's why I use the website. Generally, you can figure out what it is, but some of the translations are really funny. I have been going through them again for our June trip, since a bunch were update for April.
