Best Values?

Gotta get this board active again!

Which restaurant(s), and which hotel(s) provide the best overall value for your money?

Hotel: Renaissance on Paradise Road. No resort fee, free parking, nice rooms, separate shower, Club Lounge option. No casino, but walking distance to the monorail and the former Hilton.

Restaurant: Hash-House-a-Go-Go. Enough good food to provide meals for a week...If your room has a fridge. Very reasonable prices.

The best overall value is to stay on the strip on a weekday. You are at an amazing hotel for a few dollars more than off strip . Luxor and monte carlo have good prices. Unless it is a big weekend or convention it is not worth it to try to save a few dollars

I stay at the Desert Rose which is right behind Hooters and the Tropicana. They have 1 and 2 bedrooms. Plus the couch has a sleeper. Full kitchen and laundry rooms. Nice pool, jacuzzi, a little childs pool. BBQ's, gym. It is fully gated. Very quite.

just put in the city. I love the Mob museum which is dowtown near freemont st. The pinball machine museum, you can play them. So much shopping. If you like Earl of Sandwich it is in Planet Hollywood. There is the Coca Cola and M&M store. You can take the Duece bus, it goes all the way down to freemont st.

I've stayed at the Signature (the gold towers connected to the MGM Grand) for $90/night during the week. That's about as nice a hotel you can get for that kind of money. Very nice rooms, although the hotel itself is short on amenities (you use the MGM Grand for most of your hotel amenities). Still great value and would consider staying there again.

I've thought the Flamingo is decent for what it is. Really good location on the Strip and reasonably priced.

I just got what I consider to be a good value throughout Southwest vacations. Got The Palazzo for five nights plus four round trip air tickets from Atlanta. for $1800. Not bad. Have to add resort fee to that, but all other taxes and fees included. The Palazzo has a fourth night free offer through SW. That beat anything I could find for our trip (in a nice strip resort) by going airfare and hotel separate.
