Best kid friendly pool

I've done some internet searching on this but most of the stuff I see is a couple of years old. We are doing a trip to DL followed by a couple of days in Vegas to decompress before heading for Zion/Bryce/Grand Canyon. We are traveling with a 5 year old and plan to spend quite a bit of time while in Vegas at the pool. Which Strip resort has the best kid friendly pool?

Excalibur
Circus, Circus - second
Topicana has a kid friendly area

Mandalay Bay has an incredible pool area, with a wave pool and a lazy river. Its always full of families.

Rio has a great pool as well. It has a few pools but one is a sand pool that kids play in with sand toys and has a waterfall. A lot of locals go here with their kids since locals get in free.

MGM has multiple smaller pools and some have beach front entry. I've only been here once but there was a good amount of families.

If you want to try something new try Lake Las Vegas. The Loews hotel is right on the lake and have a little make shift beach. You can even paddle board if you like. The pool area has two different sections and one area has a slide. Not sure when you are going but in the summer they have kids activities and you can get marshmallow or hotdog roasting kits for the fire pit on the beach area.

Another option is to check out the local hotels, like Red Rock Casino, Aliante and maybe Green Valley Ranch. These pools always have families and you can rent cabanas for much less than on the strip. These casinos also offer bowling alleys, movies theaters and other things. I noticed you are going to Utah for hiking, you might like Red Rock. Its about 15 minutes away from Red Rock Canyon which has some nice family trails.

Hope this helps a bit :)

Hi sorry to hijack your thread, we will be going in January and many of the pools are seasonal
Are there any good ones open in winter?

I just got back from Mirage. Their pool is open year round and heated BUT keep in mind that in January you could be swimming in 40 degree temps. Heck, last winter Vegas got snow! This winter has been unseasonably warm.

We will be doing almost the exact same thing .
Flying in to Vegas , then off to Zion/Bryce for 4 days. Then back through Vegas (and staying 1 night to rest-up) to DisneyLand for 5 days. Then up to Sequoia / Kings Canyon , and Yosemite for 3 nights. Then Back to Vegas, through Death Valley and 1 final night in Vegas before our flight home the next day.
Whew, sounds exhausting, but it will be 2 full weeks, and we are trying to keep the drive times manageable by breaking them up between hotel stays and day trips in national parks. This is our first time out west, and it was not too easy to plan with this type of schedule!
Should be fun !

We have been looking at the Tahiti Village resort for our Vegas stays. This is a family trip, so we really dont need to be heading to the strip for anything, plus we dont game ! Its OFF the strip, and looks like it has an awesome pool area and lazy river . Should be nice for families . Rooms are close to DVC accommodations (studios, 1 and 2 bedroom units.) Kind of reminds me of the Polynesian at WDW ! Its very close to the car rental center, and a lot of restaurants.
Have you heard or know of it ? I am still checking it out, before I book.

Good luck with your trip !

I just read a review today that the Flamingo has a nice kids pool area - and their central location (and cheaper rates) is great.

Most pools are seasonal in Las Vegas. As pp said it can be VERY cold during the winter.
