We are going to SSR April 1-9 and were wondering if anyone has any info on how you become the family that is selected to open the park with Mickey & friends on the train? There are 23 of us going for this trip and it would be great if we could do something extra special like that Thanks for the tip in advance

Arrive early, Early, EARLY and "chat up" the CM's at the gates.

And, you simply must be very, very lucky.

(There are mornings when the family has been pre-selected in advance of the day.)

There's no way to reserve or request this honor. The family is picked at random from amongst those waiting for the rope drop. Be cheerful, outgoing, and friendly to any cast members you encounter. You may just get lucky.
