AP Room Discount question for multiple rooms

I know that in the past when AP discounts on rooms come out, they are able to book their own room and two other rooms with their discount. If the passholder is only staying the first night of stay, are the other two rooms able to use the discount for their entire length of stay? I hope that makes sense. Thanks!

For the military discount, it only states that every room must check in on the same day for the same resort. It doesn't say anything about when people leave. I haven't checked the wording on multiple AP rooms (I just happened to look at the military rules this morning because I'm going next year with a friend who is Air Force), but assume it would be the same. You never know with Disney though.
