Same here. I get service all over Europe. I assumed all carriers were the same.T-Mobile for free international text and data! So worth it, especially if you frequently travel internationally.

Thats a bout a week of normal use at fast speeds......then they cap you off....so no music, no pictures, no video5 GB of high speed data. Then unlimited data at 256 kbps. Not really sure what that is.
correctAgain, if I have it straight, WiFi is not using your data allowance; that only applies when your phone is connecting through cell towers.
can you just book each day as you need it??? I would go with that... most places have wifi hot spots,, hotels, starbucks, malls, stations etc.... do you have whatsapp or FB messenger? those work on the boat for simply texting. so family can get a hold of you there. worse case give them the ship contact infos for real emergencies.OP Here. I don't have Verizon, I have Xfinity. $18/mo for 2 phones. If I use International pass, it will be $10/day. If I used it every day, that would be $170. I can avoid using it during the cruise. So, $70 for the pre and post cruise.
I'm leaning toward pay as you go.
In Germany they say Wlan ( vay-laan) and dont use wifi but if they did it would be weefeePlease tell me this is a joke. Please? No really, you can't be serious.
