Advice Needed: Should we do it?

Hello All,

My husband and I are going to Italy this summer as DVC members through Interval International. While in Europe, I'd like to try to go to Paris as well, after our stay in Italy.

Do you think it's worth it to do so? I know you cannot truly comment because you not specifically know our situation, but would YOU do this if it would cost the following:

$95 fee to use DVC points at Disneyland Paris
$300 to buy park passes for 3 days
PLUS approx 114 points
Flight from Rome to Paris: about $500.

TOTAL additional: about $1000 before meals and sightseeing.

OR

Is there a cheaper way to go by booking our own room paying cash and not using DVC?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts!!!

Welcome over to the DLP board :goodvibes

I'm not a DVC member but others I know do not think that DVC represents good value at DLP. Perhaps it would be better to rent your points and plan a trip independantly.

We've a few on the board who can hopefully help with travel arrangements from Italy.

I agree you may want to look into other options besides DVC.

But how can you come half way around the world and NOT visit Disneyland Paris.

If it is within your means to do so, then yes, absolutely I would do it!
