I have finally (after weks of problems) managed to purchase 500 shares via selftrade.
Ive printed off the application form and se that i have to prove that i own the shares but a print off of my statement showing the transaction isnt acceptable apparantly.
So i presume i now need a covering letter from selftrade confirming i own the shares - is that right?

Also how do i send the 30 euros? can i just write out a uk bank chq in euros?

Now just a print out that you own the shaers is enough.
You do not need any special owners paper.

They usually need a copy of the share certificate, which if you own the shares you should receive.

I've always paid by credit card as UK cheques are in £'s.

If you go into your Selftrade account you will find a section for personal messages or messages.

In this you should have a copy of a contract note.

Print it out and send a copy of this contract note to SCA, along with your appication form.

It should then just be a case of sitting back and waiting for your Shareholders Pin and Card to arrive in the post.
