About us:
DH has been to Disney a few times when he was little, he is 32
I have NEVER been to Disney world, I LOVE all things Disney!! I am 27
Micah is 11 and Leah just turned 6, neither have been to Disney.
We had free dining, and off season!
I am soo addicted! We are planning our next trip (disney land) next fall!!
I will NEVER forget my little girls face when we pulled up to the magic kingdom!!
Day 1:
SNOW SNOW SNOW in colorado!!
We leave the house at 330 am, for a 7am flight.
We arrived in Orlando around eleven thirty, the flight wasnt too bad, almost cancelled due to the snow!
The palm trees were awesome!!
The airport was awesome! The disney store, seaworld store, harry potter store all gave me goosebumps.
We got a little lost trying to find the magical express.
Once we got on, we were on our way!!
We arrive at our hotel,(3pm) midday, so it wasnt too packed....
We were tired, hungry and jetlagged.
We dropped our suitcases in our Lion King suite and headed down to the cafeteria for lunch.
Everyone got some pizza and we loaded up the stroller and I took the cups back to our room, and waited for the bus to Magic Kingdom
We got onto the bus, and about 15 mins later we pulled up
The look on Leahs face when it all became real was incredible!
We headed down mainstreet, taking photos of EVERYTHING
We then went and got fast passes to the jungle cruise
Next we went on the tiki (cute)
DH and DS went on the flying carpets, they loved it!
Then its time for the Jungle cruise(awesome)
Its starting to get dark and cold, we are really tired, but we have dining reservations at cinderellas royal table at 9pm.
We went into the hall of presidents to warm up
right after we saw the parade
We missed the fireworks, but dont fear, we wont the next night.
The Hall of presidents was great
We headed over to the carousel to wait for our reservations
Its time to eat!! Finally!!
We were all sooo tired we couldnt even enjoy it
The food was awesome, i got chicken and potatoes...
The princesses were great, but our reservation was so late DD was tired and cranky.
The bus ride back to the hotel was by far the worst thing about our whole trip.
It was standing room only, and my sleeping 5 yr old didnt like that
DH was holding her, but she just cried and cried.
We all climbed into our seperate comfy beds and went to sleep
Oh, and when we got to our room that night, the kids had their gift baskets from Disney Florist! They were great! Highly reccomended...
Day 2: Magic kingdom, lets try this again!!
So we were up bright and early for our dining reservation at Crystal Palace.
Our reservation was at 830
Our alarm went of at 730, not too bad (but the clock was wrong, it was really 630)
SO...we got to magic kingdom WAY early!
Got to see the opening show though, that was nice!
We went into Magic Kingdom, did some shopping
Next we headed to crystal palace (dining reservations are AWESOME)
I love how they make sure you get to see everyone!
The view of the castle was amazing!
DH waited in line to see Tiana, which I didnt want to do
I waited with DS to get a chariacter drawing, the guy who did it was great!
We then headed over to the railroad and rode that all the way around the park.
I was bored, and ready for fantasy land.
This was by far our hottest day in flordia.
We went and got fastpasses right after breakfast,
at this time we went back for mickeys philharmagic and winnie the pooh
Both were fun!!
Now its about 1230 and lunch time
DS and I go to Be our Guest, this was a must see for me!
DH and DD were tired, so went back to the hotel to eat.
DS and I ate, had a great time, and headed back to the hotel.
DH was sleeping, and I took the kids swimming for an hour or so.
We rested and then around 6 decided to go back to magic kingdom.
We had all intentions of getting some food first thing, but that didnt happen!
We watched the whole parade
We saw the AMAZING fireworks show
At this time DD was asleep in the stroller, so we took advantage
Teacups, Little Mermaid, Dumbo x3, Barnstormer x3, monsters inc!
It was 10 at night, so there were NO lines
Then it was time to go back to the hotel...Oh wait...
we are still hungry!
We take a nice bus ride back, an empty one!!
Then we grab a couple sandwiches and drinks, and a pizza, and head to our room!
Everyone eats a little, then off to bed
DAY 3: coming soon...Hollywood studios!
