A Best Friend Birthday Extravaganza!! NEW TR LINK!! 5/16!!!

Steven has great taste in princesses. Tiana is the best (Punzie is great too (the hugging photo of you two is super cute), but Tiana is the Beyoncé of princesses. Fact.) Thumbs way way down for not getting pixie dusted. One must never pass up the opportunity to get pixie dusted, even if they are wearing a Maui shirt. :sad2:

I hadn't listened to the FoF soundtrack since my CP ended back in January and I admit I almost cried. Quite the experience going through your photos with that playing in the background. :cloud9: And omg I totally need your friend who tells you to "werk a camera" to be there when I'm photographing parades, although I'd probz start wannabe voguing instead of taking photos. :upsidedow

Of course Poca would know about the wayfinders. ;)

I totally would've died too if I saw Chip & Dale driving around a golf cart. I wouldn't be surprised, but that's just so unreal. :rotfl:

48 TIMES AT HOOP?! I've always wanted to see it and did the DCP and still never got to see it over my many months there. :sad2: I'm super jealous and I love how into it your friend from MRFF got with being the can-can girl. Her facials are on-point. :thumbsup2

Jumping on board for this! Already wish I could hang out with you two!

So many cute characters pics on this day!

Yay for getting a birthday drink at AK, it looks/sounds yummy!

Glad you were still able to go to Hoop for your bday dinner! The stress beforehand sounds terrible but I'm glad it was all resolved and you both had fun!

We were at the Hoop that night too. We saw the show before yours. I saw you waiting in line when we exited the show but didnt want to seem like a stalker and say hi. :earseek: We Loved the Hoop Dee Doo! and cant wait to do it again. Looks like you had a fabulous Birthday cant wait to read more about your trip.

So much love for this! The pose, the bounding. Perfection!

Ariel's grotto being the shower is just MAGICAL!
No way! So cute!

"Paging Mr. Morrow, Mr. Tom Morrow. Please contact Mr. Johnson for your flight to the moon
I miss the old spiel of "Paging Mr. Morrow, Mr. Tom Morrow. Your party has arrived on Saturn, please give them a ring."

THE HOOP DEE DO REVUE. #duh
Love Hoop! I would love to play Dolly Drew. I've auditioned a few times, but alas :( I'd go to Hoop every trip if I could!

Found your report and I'm all caught up! What a rough start but it's been magical so far. So happy that everything worked out for HDDR.

once again, great pictures from FoF (I think I might enjoy your pictures of FoF better than actual FoF ;))

Those seems like great meets with Russell and then with Pocahontas

I really liked Pandora, but it is definitely about walking around and just taking in the details - I do get why somepeople find it boring (I think if you like just wandering the rest of AK and could spend a day just doing that (like I could) then you will love Pandora - if that isn't really your thing then it probably won't live up to the hype ... well, other than Flight of Passage which is amazeballs)

Nomad Lounge is great! Oh, side note, if you like watermelon drinks, not sure if you have tried any watermelon beers but for the most part they tend not to be great (they are apparently really hard to make) - but Terrapin does an amazing Watermelon Gose beer (and they brew the beer for Pandora - so it does have a Disney connection!)

OMG - the picture of the 'Munks in the golf cart is tremendous!

Oh, I felt for you reading about the issues with getting into Hoop Dee Doo - but I am glad it worked out in the end ... and that is great to be able to get in for $30! (another side note, if you do feel like lighter food there they got my wife salmon with vegetables and it was tremendous)

That sounds like a disaster getting back to your room! Sleeping in was definitely in order!

Sounds like a great birthday! So stressful about Hoop but glad you got in EVENTUALLY! Sorry you didn't get picked for show - you would have been great! And it would have been a special birthday memory. There's always next year!!

benedryl is a killer! idk how you did it, i'm out like a light after 1 pill.
It was rough!! I constantly forget that it makes you drowsy too, so I'm all "WHY AM I SO TIRED?!" lol

Lol, he certainly does lol!! Bahahaha, yeah, he's not for being covered in sparkles for the rest of his life lol, that stuff doesn't come off!
Awweeee!! I listen to Fof at LEAST once every couple of days lol!! Hahaha, she was wonderful! Poca was great too, OMG, that Chip & Dale was too much, like, so classic for them, but too much! Lol, yeah....we went once and an obession was born...partially for that cm discount, we'd be all "where d'ya wanna go for dinner? I dunno? Artist Point? Nah, way too broke? Hoop? Yeah, I mean, $30 for all you can eat & drink lets GO" lol

Jumping on board for this! Already wish I could hang out with you two!
Awee! Hi!! Glad you're enjoying joining in on our adventures!!

Loving your TR! It's giving me life... and getting me through the next 3 weeks until we head down!

Hahha!! Yay!! Thank you so much!! Hope you enjoy your trip!!

It was awesome! And the drink was soooo good! Put it on your list if you like watermelon! Lol. Hahah, it honestly wasn't even too stressfull, like, part of me just KNEW it was there, and we'd find it, like, I normally would've been FREAKING out but for some reason wasnt lol.

Aweee!!! Hahha, it happens ALL the time! Seriously, lol. Glad you loved Hoop! It's (obviously) our favorite thing to do

Yay!!! Hiii!!! Hahah, yeah, it was intense....I'm glad things started to smooth out...

Monday May 29th

OMG! So FIRST! I apologize about this ENTIRE DAY BEING ONE UPDATE, WHAT KIND OF PHOTOGRAPHER AM I?!

#oneonbenadryl

Steven & I got up around 9:00am, slowly getting ready, there were no signs of a hangover, luckily, though we were thankful of our lazy day! We arrived at the NEW and IMPROVED Disney Springs, to loop through Sephora and few other shops before I made a stop at Sprinkles for a birthday treat!

Steven & I crossed the bridge and promptly settled in at Ragland Road where we had some snacks, but more importantly, drinks!

Again, sorry its sideways! I also got some truffle fries I BARELY ate any of, because I still had a cupcake!

Steven & I spent the afternoon wandering through Disney Springs, checking out World of Disney, scrubbing our hands at Basin, wishing we could buy EVERYTHING at the Co-op, and drooling over Goofy's Candy Co! I bargained with myself about buying a Holiday Sandwich for the next morning, while we WISHED we could afford ANYTHING in the art store, we even took the time to meet the Coca Cola Bear!

During the day, I'd been texting with Gene, (the MiSi host) he'd be on his break for around 3 hours during parade, and was planning on meeting us, but we diverted our plans to meet at the Wave at the Contemporary!

Steven & I split the 7 Seas Lagoon Drink while we chatted with Gene for a few hours. He always has the most amazing stories to tell, so time is never dull with him! Though…he did have to head back to work, which was okay, as we had to head to our next spot!

When we got over to the Grand Floridian, I REALLY wanted to get my bubbly since I'd missed out on it the previous day. Problem being we were there so early that the Citricos Lounge wasn't opened yet, and Mizner's didn't have what I was looking for. #sigh. That's okay though, we were there for dinner, and were SUPER excited about Park Faire and getting to see the Tremaine's!

Steven & I checked in about 5 mins before our resso, and barely sat down before we were escorted to our dinner table. We waited for our server, and order some drinks before we took off to get some buffet food!

Steven had the Pina Colava, and I had the Watermelon Margarita

Charming was lovely enough, but we were still in VERY big anticipation of someone else

The characters did their little parade/waltz while we waited. Originally, when Lady T came out, we gave her a standing ovation, because she's WORT IT!! Lady T then got to the table beside us, and said "hold on" and gave Steven & I THE BEST of hugs, despite "not wanting" to, she gave us ALL the love, saying that it was SO wonderful to see us again, and that she'd missed us so much. We spent some time gossiping about all the recent events, how we were still upset about her being kicked out of Fantasyland, she joked that she still snuck in after dark, lol. We enjoyed ALL the hilarious talk with her, and gave her some extra hugs before she made her way through the rest of the room.

Lady T left, and we had a couple other visitors

So, our views on 1900 Park Faire?! AMAZING, duh, as always! It's honestly one of my favorite meals, both character wise and food wise! Service is usually hit or miss at these buffets, but hey, they're just there for drinks anyways! I was bummed that the corn dog nuggets were OFF the menu, guess I'd have to pay for them from Casey's later on lol. We used Steven's discount for the meal, and I gave him cash for it, and we made our way out of the restaurant.

I had highly considered watching Happily Ever After from the beach that night, BUT, really wanted to experience it IN the park for the first time, AND I definitely didn't want to deal with the post fireworks bus crowds again after last night! So, we cleared security, hopped on the monorail, then changed to a bus at MK, and made our way back to Art of Animation.

Looks like a good time at Disney Springs. I think the drink list (specifically the bottle craft beer list) at Raglan Road is an underappreciated one

that great you got to spend some time with Gene at the Wave (oh, speaking of the Wave and the drinks you had there - did you see they are offering unlimited mimosa's at brunch there now?)

Glad you enjoyed dinner

1900 Park Faire looks like a lot of fun! The drinks look delicious too! Nice that you have the discount to take advantage of as well!

I made a stop at Sprinkles for a birthday treat!

I tried the Peanut Butter Chocolate one out at Disneyland and wasn't a fan. I think the ratio of peanut butter to chocolate was off for me. I wanted more chocolate! :rotfl2:Next time I think I need to give the all chocolate one a try.

even took the time to meet the Coca Cola Bear!

Awe man, Mom and I wanted to meet him but he wasn't there when we visited in December.

Steven & I split the 7 Seas Lagoon Drink

On my list of drinks to try someday!

Park Faire

Another one on my list of places to try. I've thought about adding it a few times but it just hasn't made the cut yet.

I had highly considered watching Happily Ever After from the beach

I'm really looking forward to seeing this show. I have been avoiding pictures and videos of it so if you do post about it I'll probably skip that post. I've got the Dessert Party with Garden Plaza View booked for January!

What a perfectly calm day! I LOVE meeting the Coca Cola Polar Bear. It's so cool (literally and figuratively) and the photographers they have there are the cutest. I wish I had Photopass when I met him because I never knew what the background was so I just have the boring blue screen. :upsidedow

Living for all these drink choices. I'm so ready to return and put my ID to good use. *continues to take notes*

Steven's Lady T bound is on-point. And omg you're making me so sad about her getting cut in MK. Driz and Anastasia are perf, but omg I NEED to meet Lady T. Guess a Park Fare dinner is due too.

Hahaha, YES, ragland is THE place for beer flights! It was great!! And YES!! I freaked when I saw that! Lol, many more pre MK brunches at the wave in my future!!

It was amazing!!! You definitely need to try it!!

The 7 Seas Lagoon Drink looks yummy!

So glad you had a wonderful dinner and were able to finally see Lady T!
It's pretty good!! Ugh, we missed her SO much i was so happy to get to see her again!!

Hahaha, totally faire! the red velvet one is definitely my favorite!! Awe! We meant to meet him in Feb but totally forgot, there's just too much to do at DS now lol!!
Hahaha no worries, that won't be til the VERY LAST DAY, lol, it was incredible though!

Hahahaha, yes!! I definitely know all the best drinking places, bahahahhaa.
UGH I WILL NEVER NOT BE SALTY ABOUT IT, like, I legit saw her multiple times a week, she made my life so much better, and now I need to pay $60 AND secure a reservation to see her?! Ugh. lol
