Its taken me a while to get around to doing this trip report as its from 15th September - 7th October 2017.

Our itinerary is as follows
Fly out to Mco from Gatwick 15th sep, Board Disney Fantasy 16th September for a 7 night Caribbean cruise :yay: stopping at Cozumel mexico, Grand cayman, Falmouth Jamaica and Castaway cay.

23rd september check in to the Yacht club, 2nd, 3rd and 4th October stay at Universals Hard Rock hotel then back to the Yacht club until 7th October. We also had the Dining plan (table service) for the first time - it took us ages to decide on the places to dine and was excited to book at our 180 day mark.

Me, my mum and brother as always on this trip, it would be our first time on a 7 night cruise and our first time staying at the Yacht club.

When we were planning this trip we booked the Caribbean beach resort ( as we have since every 2 years since 2004) but then the rumours started about building works for Gondolas etc, of course the travel agents had no clue about any works but from being on here and other forums i was able to give the travel agents the information and eventually Disney said yes there would be works going on, so the choice was stay at CBR and receive a $75 gift card for each day of our stay or move to Port Orleans riverside with no charge.

Our only issue with POR was whether we could get a roll away bed, the cast members my travel agent spoke to could not confirm whether they were available at that resort so they offered us the Yacht club for £546 extra which we decided to go for which was a great choice with a room containing 2 queen beds and a day bed - perfect for us.

Will start Day 1 when i work out how to add photos, added them 3 times and each time the final photo i add replaces every other photo :(

Day 1- 15th September

Took a taxi to Gatwick at 9am £45. Arrived at North terminal at 10am and were soon checked in with next to no queues - my suitcase was the heaviest at 19.5 hmmm think any souveniers will be packed in the others suitcases for the return trip , over to money corp to collect our dollars that we had pre ordered - dollar rate had not been good and the best we ended up with was $1.29.

Landed and followed the pack to a holding area which was so warm and watched the information video about how to use the passport machines over and over again, after 15 mins we were sent past the passport machines to the normal immigration queue which took around 40 minutes, we waited for our cases and took the shuttle then it was an easy right turn up the escalator to the Hyatt hotel - room 9119

Our first glimpse of the ship
IMG_6590_zpshgtvlqkt.jpg

We were off the bus in no time and straight through security, up the escalator and joined the check in queue.
We were checked in and given our silver lanyards as it was our second cruise, the cruise a week before ours was cancelled due to storm Irma so a lot of those holiday makers were booked onto our cruise it would be a bit busier but it did mean it was free boarding so we were able to go straight onto the ship rather then being given a boarding group number.

We had our boarding photo taken and were then announced onto the ship, we had a walk around looking at the bars and the layout of the ship.

Our room was available straight away ( Normally its available around 1 i think but storm Irma meant the ship had been empty for a week) so we went to check it out and drop off our hand luggage. Room 8606 middle deck 9. We also found our silver castaway gift of a backpack.

Day 2 Continued
We went to our Muster point at 4pm it was out on deck 4 but we were lucky to get a spot in the shade and as this was our second cruise we were more prepared and took a bottle of water with us as if you don't have an indoor muster point then it is so hot on deck especially when they make you all move closer and closer together - I'm not complaining as i know its an important safety requirement but for anyone going for the first time make sure you take some water with you.

The sail away party was up on deck after muster but we grabbed a drink and went back to our room to watch us sail away from the balcony, we loved the balcony and would be making sure we made use of it. We were on second seating for dinner which is 8.15 and means we are first seating for the theatre show -Tonights was A Fantasy come true: Welcome show, me and Ma both enjoyed it scott thought it was just ok.
We got popcorn and water before the show $10.64

There was a tv tunes trivia Quiz in O'gils at 7.45 so after the show we headed there for a pre dinner drink, the quiz was good fun mainly american shows but we got 9/15 so not too bad.

Off to dinner which was in Enchanted Garden - now at this point i will have to apologise for a lack of food photos from any of the restaurants during our cruise, on our first cruise we had requested our own table as we wanted to have the experience to ourselves and we did the same this time round but when we were led to our table we met our table mates for the cruise - now as it turns out they were absolutely lovely, from Texas, Katy, Kathy and Lee and after our initial awkwardness we all got on great and had some lovely meals and conversations but it did not feel polite to be taking photos at the table.

We met our fantastic server's Sudin and Jamel.

I had Lobster Ravioli, sea bass and chocolate tort. Ma had Mushroom tart, Pork medallions and Raspberry bomb. Scott had Lobster ravioli, Steak and Pecan pie.
Glass of wine
We got a drink at the bar to take back to our room, Ma had the big bed to herself, i had the fold down sofa which was really comfy - it was like a proper bed rather then feeling like a fold out sofa. Scott had the bed that hung from the ceiling, he said it was comfy but he was a fraction too long for it .

Tomorrow - a day at sea

Scotts%20phone%20017_zpsdcqysfuv.jpg

We were going to get lunch from Cabana's but it was so busy we went to Maters instead for burgers, back to the room to cool off and relax whilst watching Mulan.

Next up was Bingo in D lounge - our first time playing and learning all the calls like - B 11, B, B, 11!! and Shake it up Betty! It was $40 for 8 cards, 4 games, we didn't win, came close though and it was good fun.

029_zpsgrjjhn8r.jpg

Formal night tonight so back to the room to get ready
IMG_6646_zpsjcpwanrp.jpg

We watched Aladdin in the theatre it was a fabulous show, really good fun. We then went to O'gils for the a pre dinner drink and to play the quiz again - it was 50/60's music tonight and we won joint first place with 28/30!! :) we won a Disney cruise line keyring each.
031_zpsns2m88dj.jpg

Dinner was in Royal court tonight and we had a lovely time with our table mates chatting about all the changes in WDW, I had Brie, salmon and strawberry shortcake, Ma had Brie, Filet cheatau Briand and Tart tatin, Scott had French onion soup, Lobster pasta and Tart tatin - food was lovely.

We got a drink from the lobby bar and took it back to the room, once in bed it felt like the boat was turning and was giving me a headache almost felt like there was a pulling sensation so i switched my pillows to the other end of the sofa bed and that helped tremendously.

Tomorrow - Cozumel, Mexico.

Day 4 - 18th September - Cozumel, Mexico - 97 degrees today - All terrain Buggy snorkling Santa pur national park

Awake at 6.45, got ready and up to cabana's for breakfast
034_zpsem9ucomg.jpg

At 8.10 we went to D lounge to meet our group for the all terrain buggy and snorkelling tour, we were given jasmine stickers and followed the crew member off of the ship where we met our Guide, he led us through the shopping centre and out to our buggy's, we got a blue one for just the three of us, we were given helmets to wear whilst driving and bandanna's which we were to put on when we reached the park as it would be dusty.

We left in a convoy behind the tour guide, drove through the busy port area, past bars and hotels for around 50mins before arriving at Santa pur national park, i videoed as we drove along so not many photos of the sights before we get to the park, it was a hot drive and my advice to anyone doing this tour is remember to take sunglasses, a towel for the beach and to put over your legs as you drive because we really felt the 97 degree heat from the sun.
118_zpszodenmrn.jpg

Stopped at the entrance and it was time to put on our bandana's
Scotts%20phone%20026_zpsdyn4dxb7.jpg

First stop was the nature reserve part for the crocodiles but sadly they were hiding so we did not get to see any, we climbed the tower to get the full view.

We parked up and were given snorkelling gear by the guides, there was a longer snorkelling route where you followed the guides through the water or you could just snorkel close to the shore.
Me and ma were too hot from the drive so we decided to sit at the bar and get a cool drink instead but scott donned his life jacket and joined the rest of the group.

072_zpshoagiqwz.jpg

it was at this point that we realised we had made a big mistake - we had forgotten to apply bug spray and being down on the sand we did get a couple of bites each, sooooo itchy!

We had coconut shrimp which were delicious and plenty of cold drinks

It was a really enjoyable trip, hot though and took longer then we thought it would, i think they gave us longer at the beach as people were enjoying the cocktails :drinking1:drinking1 it cost $105 each and we gave the guides a tip, also just to add the tour guides handed out free bottles of water at the start of the trip and they had plenty available so offered them again at each stop.

We had a look in the shops, bought some wrestling masks for our niece and nephew, photo frame and margarita glasses

Day 6 - 20th September - Falmouth, Jamaica - Good hope house

Another beautiful day, temperature at 7am was 77 degrees with 74% humidity - it was going to be a hot one today.

We got ready and went to cabana's at 7.45 for breakfast before meeting our group (pluto today) in the D lounge,we were led off the ship and through the port area which looked very nice to a coach stop where we filled in our names on a form then boarded the coach.
205_zpssflugmk4.jpg

Scotts%20phone%20056_zpss8bl6yjp.jpg

It was a 25 minute journey through Falmouth, past houses, the bend down market before arriving on a bumpy road that wound up a hill towards the entrance, we all got off at the shop and were told we could have a look around here first or take a smaller minibus up to Good Hope house, we opted to go straight up and planned to have a look around down here later.

5 minutes later we were there

We had seen a sign for the water mill when we arrived and as we had around an hour until the next coach going back to the port we asked for directions and the guide told us to follow him, we went on a bit of a trek along some mud paths going downhill, crossed over a small road and he led us down to a swimming pool, waterfall and zip lining.
254_zps9cfyy8sy.jpg

It was interesting but we didn't see a water mill :sad2: he left us there to look around and then we walked back up to catch our coach to port.

We got back to the ship at lunchtime so went on board to freshen up and grab lunch in cabana's

Off the ship to have a look in the shops, we found them to be quite pricey but Ma did buy a Christmas bauble and some rum cake.

We watched a Magician in the theatre he was good fun for the kids, next it was off to O'gils for a tv trivia quiz we got 8/15
284_zps0o4yhnj5.jpg

Dinner tonight was in Royal Court but on our last cruise we had dinner and then saw the Pirate buffet in Cabanas which look very nice and we thought it was a shame that we were too full to try anything so this time we were going to just skip dinner and wait for the buffet but our table mates suggested we come for a starter so we did - i had a brioche, brie and sausage fig thing and i must admit it was the only thing i did not enjoy on the whole cruise, Scott had fishcakes and Ma had shrimp both were lovely.

We went up on deck and got a drink, an ice cream and played cards before watching the fireworks - sorry i have no photos of the fireworks as i took a video instead and my laptop wont let me load videos ( its very old and temperamental) needless to say both the pirate show and the fireworks are fabulous!!
294_zpssonb81tp.jpg

295_zpsxv8zuekk.jpg

So with excitement we headed to the pirate buffet :rainbow: but it was sooooooooooo crazy busy, i think the whole ship had skipped dinner :scared::sail:
we left and came back a couple of times but it was still manic so we got pizza from Luigis instead, ate that outside and then headed back to the room at around 12
