Hey everyone!

My family is taking our first trip to DisneyWorld in about 7 weeks. We have been planning this for two years, so lot's of anticipation! We have two kids- a 9 year old daughter and a 4 year old son. Our mostly finalized plans with meal reservations and fast passes are listed below, and any advice or critiques would be appreciated!!

Keep in mind we have never been to WDW (although we are Disneyland AP holders), so we really want to see as much as we can since it's all new to us. We also have a lot of ADRs, but want to use meal times to relax and recharge so we can hit the parks afterwards. I suspect we may share meals as needed since it may otherwise be a lot of food. We will have WDW APs for this trip, and plan on buying the TIW card upon arrival. Thanks in advance for any comments!

This looks good except for two mistakes:
Day six : change your third fast pass because Seven Dwarves Mine Train is not in Hollywood Studios.
Day 12: Change the name of that departing express to “Tragical” Express

Only critique is that would be a lot of zigzagging on your park days except day 10 and 11. I guess your fast pass is for slinky on day 6 ;)

Edited: Also about the back and forth, I didn’t see a stroller mentioned for the 4 year old. It’s a personal choice, but there is a lot more walking compared to Disneyland from what I hear. I was glad to have a double for my then 4 year old and 1 year old.

Jealous you get a 12 day trip!

My only comments -

Day One - I'd probably only do one TS meal that day. It's going to feel relatively busy. I'd be tempted to eat dinner in the room. You have a kitchen.

Day Two - I'd be tempted to ditch Rose and Crown and see if you could add Garden Grill instead.

Day Six - I just think Sci Fi and Brown Derby are too close together in terms of time. Brown Derby is a snooze fest for kids - so I hope you are going because you like the menu for adults.

Day Ten - I would DEFINITELY cancel Yak and Yeti - and plan to eat at Satuli Canteen instead. It's worth the visit. Yak and Yeti is fine - it's just a standard Americanized Chinese restaurant. This is probably the strongest recommendation I have of everything.

At MK - for your counter service lunches - you can pick based on location - but you also might review the menus so you know what to expect when folks are saying its time to eat. Our group rarely picks Columbia House - because it's just not got the menu our group craves.

In general though - looks like a plan.

I wouldn't book a roller coaster right after lunch, but looks pretty good. I'd second Garden Grill over Rose and Crown

Ha! yes, I've heard the ride of shame to the airport can be tough. I can't decide if we'll be crying, or just sleeping....

Also yes, thanks for catching the error on Day 6. I pasted from the day prior. That FP is for Alien Swirling Saucers. thanks!!

Ok thanks for the heads up! I'll see if I can tighten up any of the Fastpasses to create less walking across the parks. And yes, we are definitely taking a stroller. I assume the little guy will crash in the afternoons, so the stroller will be a lifesaver. thank you!

That looks AMAZING!!! So jealous, wouldn't change a thing, have a fantastic trip!!! :)

thanks! Overall some great suggestions. You read my mind on Yak & Yeti vs Satuli- I have been considering that exact change for months now. I get the suspicion that once we are there for a few days, we may cancel some of the ADRs towards the end of the trip, such as Yak and Yeti. I've only heard amazing things about Boma, but I won't be surprised if everyone would just rather stay in our room and sleep-in that last morning.

I keep hearing more and more about Garden Grill- we may have to give that a try!
My picky eater liked most of the food. And the we saw Mickey, Pluto and the chipmunks at least twice. Plus the kids loved that the room moves.
