On the Disney site is says sites have a paved drive and a Coquina Rock Bed.
What's that?

We have reserved a preferred site and will have a 17 X 9 tent as well as screen tent for picinc table. I have heard the sites are a little smaller in the preferred sites. Will we be cramped?
There is no dimensions given where they show the sites on the Disney site.

Approx what was the size of the smallest site anyone has gotten.

Are we milking our AP's or what?

Coquina is crushed shells mixed with dirt similar to what they use on pitchers mounds. Holds the stakes down very well. Make sure that the size of your tents is noted on your resv. You might want to fax a request for a loop with your tent size a few days before your arrival to the FW front desk.

We always ask for Loop 1500. The sites are very large (larger than the sites used for motorhomes!) and there is plenty of space for our two dome tents and a screen tent!

The crush shell mixture is very nice for holding the stakes in, but not very comfortable to lay on. Make sure you bring air mattresses or cots!

We have a 36' fifth wheel AND also put up a 9 x 17 tent. We do ask for one of the bigger sites, but for the stuff you mentioned, you will have no problem setting up. You will have to pitch the screen room on the rock bed, as it is not wide enough for the tent. The tent will have to go lengthwise on the driveway ...... no problem. Just make sure you bring extra rope to anchor your tent longer distances than normal.
