i attended last night Saturday May 18th . I had a great time . I was a solo traveler (let's just say I could have been the sisters' mother in case you were wondering my age) and was seated with two 20 something sisters from Utah (their first WDW trip after going to DL several times) and another solo traveler from North Florida. We all got along immediately and had a great conversation before the show started. The food offerings were delicious and plentiful . I would recommend this event and do it again the future if it worked out.

Side note - I didn't see any tables larger than for parties of 4. Not saying there weren't any I just didn't notice any near me.

The table setup varies slightly from night to night. If there were any larger tables they would have been along the far end near the FP viewing area.

Does this party still have the Assorted Eclairons that are basically Macarroons? It sounds like they've gotten rid of them at the Happily Ever After Dessert Party & these are one of my families favorites. We're doing both parties during our trip in a few weeks. I'm sure as long as one of the parties have them that they will be content. Thanks!

I have no clue, but it's important to know that the two parties are put on by two completely different groups and each group operates independently.

In more trials and tribulations of Disney planning, the new DAH announcements from yesterday have totally blown up my two possible July FEA dessert party nights.

Blah... what to do, what to do.....

So are you saying you have to make a decision between FEA and DAH?

They had them this past Saturday night. I agree they are delicious. My favorite was the s’mores dessert but everything I tried was good .

In short, yes.

I am partially at fault though. I totally botched my 60 day FP window, so the DAK DAH that happens during my trip is a convenient relief for my poor FP planning when it comes to FoP. (Some ‘on top of things’ Disney planner I am!). We have a wide age range (some who have never been to Disney) and touring that hot park in the nighttime hours has some appeal.

But that now conflicts with the night I had really wanted to do the FEA dessert party.

So, that’s my dilemma.

I’ve never really planned for a group like this before and I keep running into situations where I have to remind myself we just can’t do everything - and needing to remind myself that’s OK! :-)

I tell you this year my planning as been all over the place! I have been planning for years but cant get it together. I think it is the waiting on Disney to release all the special events that has me so messed up.
They do not even have a DAK DAH during our week there unless they released more dates for June.
I wished I would have put our FOP on a different day. Oh well no changing it now.
If I had to plan for a large group I think I would have a break down! I'm sure you will get it figured out and they all will have a great time.
Keep reminding yourself that no you can't do everything and its OK :thumbsup2!

Ha, me too. I have it booked on a Monday and we want to do AK AH. Now I need to move it to 8/1. It is always somethin’.

I was there on Wednesday of last week (May 15) with my mom, and we were seated with a party of 3--so 5 of us total at one table. We were seated at table number 9 (I'm not sure if table numbers vary each night.) We were along the railing maybe 6 or 7 tables from when you first enter the party area.

The seating with another party wasn't awkward at all. The other family we were seated with were lovely and I really enjoyed talking with them!

Table 9 is an excellent table.

The table numbers do not change significantly from night to night. That would drive the CMs that escort Guests to their tables crazy.

That's typical. Sounds like you had an enjoyable night overall.

How fast does the FEA dessert party typically fill up? October dates aren't available yet, but I'm considering it for my daughter and I on our last night at the parks.
