Please Avoid Booking at Sejours et Affaires (Val d'Europe)

We booked Sejours et Affaires for three nights at beginning of december - to do one day at disney and two for Paris xmas markets. On arrival there was no passport check, and the reception staff totally offhand. Got our names wrong and assumed we were only staying one night. The 'room' was...

TBH the only time we had tea/coffee in the rooms was when we got a kettle and guest pack from reception. Cost about €10 iirc - it was Lipton yellow tea bags in that. Will be there on thursday so will check

    Staying off-site

Most of the new apartments opposite the Relais Spa hotel (Val d'Europe) are buy-to-let properties, lots on booking.com. We have stayed at several and all were really good, DLP bus is 2min walk (from Relais Spa) and another goes from the Hotel Elysee. There's also a Sejours et Vacances at Serris...

A few more ? regarding Paris & DLP

3 - Paris Visite was too expensive, we used a Mobilis ticket for each day (all-zones cost about €17 each). We bought ours each day at the metro ticket machines (used visa c-card). https://www.ratp.fr/en/titres-et-tarifs/mobilis https://www.ratp.fr/en/titres-et-tarifs/passe-navigo-easy

DLP at beginning or end of France trip!

Metro stations aren't the main streets (which are washed every night), public toilets are bad in every city, and litter likewise. Daughter studied in Paris so we were there almost every weekend for 18 months and had long lease on an apartment . So not just touristy areas. Offensive maybe a...

DLP at beginning or end of France trip!

I've been a regular visitor to Paris since the 90s, and cant relate to that. Maybe I've not been to the same places, maybe I had my eyes shut, but I do find that post offensive.

    Paris Tour From DLP Hotel

I agree the tours from DLP are expensive, and the train is a better option with a Mobilis ticket for the day. Work out the attractions you want to see then get a map from the SNCF site and plan your route. All of the major attractions are walking distance of each other, use the metro when feet...

Guests Managing Expectations When Comparing Disneyland Paris To the Other Parks

I've been a member here 14 years and have been visiting DLP for every one of those years. In all that time I have only ever seen American people getting upset by this sort of thing, then usually on someone else's behalf, and thankfully not that often. The vast majority of questions from non-UK...
