    Riviera or Beach Club?

As a parent of a DD who is now 19, I wish I had done more of what she wanted and less of what I wanted over the years. If RIV is really where she wants to stay, then I have no doubt she will love staying there, regardless of which pool is better, or which resort is in the best location...just...

Here Now & Just Back WDW Reopening Experiences Including Park Hopping

Not true. Just checked out of Pop and we were charged $15 per night for parking.

    Quiet place for a teen

No, I won't ignore your comments... at least you responded to my post and actually tried to make some suggestions. As for PrincessShmoo and IceskatingPrincess, I get that you are veterans on the Disboards and all, but I noticed neither of you had any good suggestions to make in concerns to my...

    New to Cruising

Agree with both previous posters and would add, make sure you have a carryon with essentials since you won't have access to your state room until after 1:30, and you probably won't see your "checked" luggage until later in the afternoon.

    Luggage tip!

A couple years back we bought two pieces of hard sided luggage. My wife's is Mickey Mouse red and mine is Harley Orange. You can't miss them, and no one has mistaken them for their bags yet! I do agree with an earlier poster though, even though I am 99% sure they are mine, we still check the tag.

    Quiet place for a teen

We are going to be cruising later this year, and my daughter will be 15 at the time. We have done DCL before, and she isn't too interested in the teen club. She would just as soon hang out with us on deck and read a book or draw in her sketch book (she is an aspiring animator). So, since she...

    DH is Dropping New Rules

Ok, looks like I have a new goal for our next cruise... Concerning the OP's comments, I love my DCL and I love being on a verandah, but I am not sure I could justify spending $14,000 on a cruise. Of course I may be in a different social-economic tier then you. To me it all comes down to...

What was the biggest Disney meltdown you've witnessed?

I don't know if you would call it a meltdown, but about 10 years ago we were at the Osborne lights at HS and two "gentlemen" got into a physical altercation. It was obvious that at least one of them was intoxicated. I am all for having a couple of beers, but if you are drinking to the point...

    Worst WDW Food Experience

DW, DD and I all love the food at O'hana, but we have had service issues there as some others have mentioned. We will most likely go back though. We also had similar issues as other posters with the crowding at Chef de France The one place we will not be returning to is La Hacienda de San...

    Craft beer drinkers unite

Phinz, It is surprising just how much AB Inbev actually owns...Long Hammer, Kona, Goose Island, and as of last January, Elysian! The list goes on and on. But I reckon a Longboard is better than Budweiser or Coors light, any day.

    Craft beer drinkers unite

I have not been on the Alaska cruise, but I have been to Anchorage and enjoyed several of Alaska Brewing's selections. Thanks for the input.

    Craft beer drinkers unite

Thanks for the updates. Last time I was on board the best thing they had on tap was Michelob Amber Bock, so the additions of the Florida Beer Company drafts is at least some improvements. Hopefully greater demand for craft beer will encourage them to continue to improve their selection. Were...

    Craft beer drinkers unite

With the new limitations on the amount of beer you can bring on-board the ships, I thought it might be a good idea to get a good on-board craft beer list started so those of us who enjoy it can find it. Please, this is not a forum to debate the new rules, but a tool to help fellow craft beer...

November 30, 2013 Eastern Caribbean on the Fantasy

Hey Everybody, Just checking in. We are already on the roll call under my DW Princesspiglet. Does anyone know if you can get to the Oceaneer Lab from the Aft Lift? I looked at the deck plan and it looks like you can't, but I wanted to make sure. Thanks for the help!

    November 2, 2013 - Disney Fantasy 7 night Eastern - Cruise Meet

Be warned, it's addictive. We did our first cruise last November. This year we are hitting the parks, then it is back on the ship for 2013!
