Muffin tin in Kidani 1 BR Villa?

Has anyone seen if the AKL villas have muffin tins? We were hoping to make muffins for breakfast. TIA

    Wanyama Safari(Jiko Menu)

This happened to us as well where there were some hungry folks and some items disappeared. It was the chicken and ribs during our time. We asked for more and it took about 25 minutes to get the additional food to the table where most people had already finished.

    Real quick best snack AK

Is the lumpia still alive in AK? I thought I read that they took it away. ☹️ I was really hoping to try it this time.

    Wanyama Safari(Jiko Menu)

We did the Wanyama since we were staying at Kidani. It is a preset meal and is like going to a game Park in Africa where you have tea and snacks prior to going out on the safari. The safari was excellent and they drove the vehicle on both the Jambo and Kidani Savannahs. We got many great photos...

Split Villa Stay and Refrigerated Items

We are doing a split stay with 4 nights in Kidani and 5 nights in BLT. We like to get milk, eggs and butter for breakfasts. We know that the resort transfers our luggage to BLT. What about refrigerated items? Do those transfer safely if marked correctly? TIA.

    Memory Maker for a couple

We love memory maker and is great especially for the magic shots! It is also a benefit so that you can get a bunch of photos of you as a couple and not have to keep asking random people. They have tons of photographers staged throughout the parks at perfect photo spots! Also the photos can be...

Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe Refurb at Epcot

Does the kiosk have the strawberry rice cream? This is one of your annual favorites!

    Best Disney "Splurge"?

Similar to the Sunset but a little better is the Wanyama safari at AKL. It starts with small bites prior to your tour and safari and then finishes with a wine paired dinner with your tour group at Jiko. This used to be available exclusively to AKL guests but opened to all guest in the past year...

Trader Sam's wait times, help me with a strategy!

I would recommend keeping your FP and play it by ear on that day. You may have a chance of moving it earlier on the day of and then get to TSGG early. It leaves you a little flexibility and you can always switch it out if nothing else shows up.

    Yak & Yeti Laundy Card

Yes,the Landry’s card has provided us the needed flexibility where you are trapped with ADRs. Especially helpful if you wanted to catch one last fast pass prior to dinner where your timing does not need to be exact. We have bypassed a 45 Min wait at Both T-Rex and yak & yeti! Soooo worth it...

Post Your 2018 Food & Wine Festival Special Events Here

So I screwed up this year and missed the first week to sign up for the F&W special events. One of our favorite events is sold out, is there ever a chance to walk up and see if anyone didn’t show. I know that these are pre-pay events, but is there any chance for us?

Epcot or MK on a Saturday during F&WF?

Fate usually brings us to Epcot on F & W Saturdays. The entrance lines get long as you get towards the noon time and is not a good day if you need to activate your AP if you have one. Guest services lines are crazy!!! If you stay in the front of the park and skip the attractive photo pass...

    Using FP+ kiosks questions

If I can get the 4th fast pass at the kiosk at one park are you able to use MDE to change to another park?

EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, Sept. 25 - Nov 16 2015

Has the official booking date been announced for reserving the various special events for F & W? We are staying over 2 Saturdays to catch 2 PTFS events. We love it year after year. Sorry to hear that people do not want to share their table with fellow travelers. We always welcome others as it...

    Sanaa Lunch vs Dinner

In general we have found the lunch to be better at Sanaa. There are floor to ceiling windows that look out onto the savanah and the majority of tables seat 4. There are some tables that are closer to the windows. Depending on your reservation time at night, it will be darker and harder to see...

    Which new rest. to try

I would suggest CP in MK. It has a goo buffet and characters (Winne the Pooh and friends). It is always a favorite of ours.

BOG for lunch, No FP...Do we stand a chance?

We have also found that the line is quite short after 1:30 pm or so after the lunch rush.

Best tasting hot dog in WDW

I give props to Fairfax Fare as well. DH had the Mac 'n Cheese with truffle hot dog and I had the BBQ pork hot dog. Both were great; a very unexpected surprise. Just be mindful when the Beauty and the Beast show lets out if you are heading there since it is a popular place to go.

Is the food at Sanaa as "exotic" as it sounds?

Our DVC home is Kidani and have been to Sanaa. It has a fairly limited menu and not much kiddo appeal. With so many other options available, I would go to Boma where there are some exotic items combined with American stands.

    Help me pick a signatue!

It really depends on what type of food you prefer. DH and I love CG and their new menu after the refurb. We liked it so much that we came back and did their Omakase sushi experience. :thumbsup2
