Avatar made me sick - should I avoid Rise?

Same story for my DH - one time on FoP and never again, but he's been on Rise many times and has no issues at all.

Questions about masking? I wore an N95 mask for 7 days in 90 degree heat while pushing a wheelchair - here's what I learned.

We were there last week, and we both came away with Covid. We left property on Sunday, hubby tested positive Monday morning and I tested positive Wednesday morning. We are both pretty sick, not go to the hospital level, but very miserable. We are both fully vaxxed and double boosted. We wore...

    Receiving packages at the Fort

Thanks everyone. We received our package, picked it up at reception (at the Settlement), and we were not charged anything. 😊

    Receiving packages at the Fort

We need to order something from Amazon to receive during our stay this week. I know we could send it to a nearby locker, but it won't get there before we check in, and we don't want to move the RV just to pick it up (and we don't have a tow car with us). Can we receive it at the Fort?

Is sparkling water including in the unlimited drink cups

I think Coke Freestyle machines also have AHA flavored sparkling water now. I know I saw it at the machine at my local Five Guys.

Skyliner to Riviera for QS breakfast?

In the past, I have tried to mobile order at Primo Piatto (the Riviera QS) from the Skyliner and the app gave a notice that only guests staying at the resort could use mobile order. However, my husband tried on his phone and didn't get the message, and we were able to order. We've traveled...

Best Tips for Getting a Table at Three Bridges

Your situation is what I would imagine would be the perfect one for Three Bridges - you could relax in your room (although you're right about the grounds being lovely, it's a nice place to hang out), and you like to eat late anyway. Dinner at 7 or later is challenging for us because hubby is a...

Best Tips for Getting a Table at Three Bridges

Does anybody have advice for my best chance at a table at Three Bridges? My understanding (correct me if I'm wrong) is that they don't take ADRS and you just have to get on the wait list and take your chances. We won't be staying at CS, we've just really wanted to eat there. I'm talking about...

Any Good Home Remedies for Sinusitis?

For an immunity boost (which can help you get better faster) I swear by Oil of Oregano. It's a powerful natural antibiotic. About 10 years ago hubby and I started using it whenever we get sick , and we haven't had to go to the doctor for an antibiotic once in all that time. Before that, we...

    GotG Cosmic Rewind AP previews

Aw man, that is a super accurate description of my husband after the (one and only forever) time he did Flight of Passage. I'm really afraid we'd have the same situation on GoG. And about the "I have no one to ride with because my partner can't handle it" club - I'm down, lol!

    GotG Cosmic Rewind AP previews

Thanks everybody, and I'd love to hear more perspectives on motion sickness. So far it sounds borderline for hubby, most likely too much for him, as I suspected it would be, but I really really hope he can ride it.

    GotG Cosmic Rewind AP previews

Can someone who's ridden comment on the motion sickness factor? Asking for my hubby - for context, he can handle the brief motion simulator on RotR, but he can't do Star Tours. In terms of coaster action, he enjoys Seven Dwarves and can sometimes handle Expedition Everest and Dinosaur, but...

Did room stays used to include a water park or ESPN option? And luggage tags?

I just booked a room only package for June, and the email I got shows that I'm getting luggage tags and "Magical Extras", both of which are supposed to be mailed to my home before my trip. The Magical Extras seems to be my choice of one round of mini gold at either course, or admission to...

Rise of the Resistance front row?

They will almost surely pack the vehicle. My guess of them splitting you 3 and 2 was based more on the idea of them thinking that your party would prefer not to have one person "alone" in a row, but who knows. If they did split you into 3 and 2 they would try to fill the rows with a party of 1...

Rise of the Resistance front row?

Agreed on both counts - first, just roll with it. It's luck of the draw for everyone, first timers included. And, I also think with a group of 5 you'll be super likely to get front row for part of your group (although I kind of also think they might split you 3 and 2).

    Mobile ordering a bust.

We've had experiences like this before, waiting way too long only to find out that our order was sitting waiting for us and getting cold, but those experiences were a small blip in our mostly positive history with mobile ordering.

La Crêperie de Paris and egg allergy?

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/epcot/creperie-de-paris/menus/dinner/ Here's the menu - other than galettes (savory buckwheat crepes) and sweet dessert crepes, the only items are a soup of the day and a house salad. The only kid's offering is a prix fixe meal that includes a choice...
