We will be there for Princess Half Marathon weekend 2/22-2/26. The last time we were at WDW was prior to Genie+, so I am not familiar with it, and am just starting to read up on it. Any opinions on if you think we will need Genie+, or should we just take our chances with stand-by? Thank you!

We will be getting there on Thursday of race weekend, but other runners in our group will not get in until Friday. Can I pick up all of our packets at the expo on Thursday?

Yes, campfires by Pride Rock. I think it was at 7:30 pm. I walked by and saw several families roasting marshmallows.

FYI, we used the skyliner to get to HS for rope drop on 8/9 and 8/12. We were at the AOA/Pop skyliner station around 8;00--no wait at that one or the CBR transfer station. We were inside HS by 8:15. I don't think the HS buses were even running those mornings, so skyliner was our only option.

It's right by the Big Blue pool. The whole area is fenced in. The splash area is not fenced in separately.

We did not experience the skyliner being down for weather, and I'm not exactly sure what the policy is as far as closure. It did rain pretty hard with thunder while we were at Epcot, but we were not near the skyliner area to see if it was shut down.
