    Spring Training

The Tigers are in Lakeland. Probably the next closest to Disney but would need a car for that one. St Lucie is not too far from Vero..that is the Mets Spring Training location. Again, car would be necessary.

Best Offsite Restaurant Options as a Must-Do on Your List?

I was not impressed with Blue Zoo. Big, huge fan of Eddie V's though. https://www.eddiev.com/locations/fl/orlando/orlando/8513

    Feedback on frontier

Frontier has very inexpensive base prices, but they charge for everything. And I do mean everything. Before you decide that they are the least expensive, ask yourself..how important is it for you and your family to sit together, because assigned seats will be an extra charge. Save money by...

When will Frontier extend there schedule?

I've been wondering the same thing. I see the Frontier website went through a bit of an upgrade, but still not taking reservations past Aug 10. At first I thought it was just a Washington-Dulles issue, but looks like it is everywhere Frontier flies. I did just send them an email asking if they...

Been many times since I have been a Sprint customer and have never noticed an issue.

    Park Hopper or not?

I would not go to WDW without a Hopper. I don;t even consider not having one.

    Best Disney World travel book?

Unofficial Guide is the best in my opinion. Birnbaums is more like Disney propoganda. Passporter is fun and interactive and I would get on for my daughter but it never really gave me any more information than I could get from the Unofficial Guide.

    Best off-site pool?

Totally agree with that! World Center Pool is nice too, but how could you not love a pool with a Lazy River!

What can you tell me about the Marriott World Center?

Its a great location to get to all three of the parks you plan to visit. Farthest from Universal, not far from SeaWorld, and very close to the entrance to The World. It is more of a business resort, but the kids will absolutely love the pool! It is a beautiful property and I love to stay...

Rental Car GAS FILL before returning to MCO

I have filled up many times at the Hess station across from Hollywood Studios before returning the car. Reasonable prices. Never had an issue with the amount of gas upon return.

    Afternoon flight---delays??

There is a website I go to where you can check historical flight information www.flightaware.com Just put in the airline and flight number and it will give you a short history of the flights you are taking. If you register (I think it is free) you get a longer history.

    Tell me all about Boma!

For a strictly a mac and cheese and chickin fingers bunch, there are a lot of less expensive alternatives. For those a bit more adventurous, Boma is fantastic! I do not find a lot of the food "spicy"..just good! My less adventurous (but becoming more so as time goes by) DD sticks to the...

    Bugs in August???

There must be some Magic shield over The World, becuse I have wondered how so few bugs get into the parks, and I have been several times in middle and late August. Nothing at all to worry about.

Washington DC area - any one airport better/easier than the others?

When I lived near Fairfax, I always preferred to go out of Dulles, but not by much. I would go out of either, just seemed like I always found a cheaper flight out of Dulles. I tend to think there are less traffic delays out of Dulles, because you can avoid I-395 which is frequently bad...

Bowling and Billiards coming to DTD

And this is better than Pleasure Island? Or the Adventurers Club? I can bowl and play pool at home. And I don't. Something tells me I won't do it at DTD, either.

    Orlando World Center Marriott

Universal is about 10 miles from the World Center, so approx 10-15 minutes to parking, depending on traffic. WWOHP is inside the Islands of Adventure theme park. The walk from the garage to the IofA turnstiles can be 10-15 minutes. Once inside the park, WWOHP is just a few minutes walk from...

A little FYI about MCO and soaking wet luggage

Yep, that is my understanding too. Better some soaked luggage than some injured baggage handlers.
