feedback/Advice on Buying Groceries at DVC villas

Thanks! If we were at BWV that would be a closer store, but from AKL the one I listed is closer. Since we'll have a car, we'll do pickup. We've always been Publix shoppers in WDW, BUT ordering ahead of time with WM will definitely save us some time!

feedback/Advice on Buying Groceries at DVC villas

Are you talking about the Old Lake Wilson Rd store? We'll be staying at AKL next month and plan to pick up groceries there. (Never thought we'd be Walmart Grocery shoppers, but the pandemic changed that. We do almost all of our grocery shopping through their Pickup & Delivery service: love it!)...

Unable to cancel DVC booking on website

Just chiming in with my thanks for this thread. We needed to cancel our VGC reservation, kept getting the "we're working on it" error for 2 days, so came here and did a search and found the answer! Adding the email back to the main guest fixed it. Thanks!

Loyd Have Mercy - Escape from Mos Eisley (to the Death Star) - Stick a fork in me, I think I am done.

We live in a suburb north of Chicago, close enough to Milwaukee's airport that it was our first choice before we started flying American a lot. We've got lots of mature trees in our neighborhood, so a lot of small wildlife including the ever-annoying chipmunk. Our cat is strictly indoors. 😄

I really enjoyed your report!! Your dogs are adorable! We have a sweet orange cat. We used to have the occasional deer in our yard...very rarely we see a fox trotting by...but we do have blue jays, cardinals, robins, woodpeckers, and an occasional starling! As a kid in Chicago, all we ever saw...

I think if your stay coincides with a stay at WDW - for which you're issued Magic Bands - the MB's then consequently will work at VB. If you search "magic bands" in this thread, I even posted about it two years ago: 2 out of 4 of our bands worked at VB (which is not bad, considering we NEVER...

I like your re-packing method! (You must have a scale with you?) Since the last day of any trip means packing (thus taking time away from enjoying the time left!), this sounds like a great plan!

I love green olives, just not in my martinis. I definitely will pick a Gin martini over a vodka one. I see the Chambord on the bar...definitely cough syrupy! Wonder what's in the yellow drink??

--Your door decoration is so cute. --Bacon HAS to be crispy for my taste, almost burned... --Palo brunch looks good.

Sad that your entree order was totally wrong...at least if the fish had been hot and tasty, it might have made up for the goof!

Yes, the dedicated 2-BRs face away from the ocean. Do the lock-off for a (small) chance of seeing the ocean out your windows (and it's really only a sliver of water, if any, you may see).

Very cute door magnet! That excursion didn't look too appealing. The Starbucks drink, on the other hand, does!

    Leaving for Tokyo on Friday!

We had no issues bringing in medication. We brought DH's pill box (the weekly type) filled with his 3 daily pills as well as a separate box filled with OTC pills. In my research for our trip, I read that Japan has a problem with pseudoephedrine being brought in, so even though I always travel...

Planning Japan trip for February 2020, including Disney!

Yep, that's what we actually paid. We also arrived after the last limo bus of the evening, so that wasn't even an option for us.

How did you travel from Haneda to Disney?

We took a taxi. It cost about $90 USD.
