I have a solo reservation next month at Jaleo. Eating around WS during the day then tapas at night seemed like a good combo. Your go with the flow approach sounds good, too.

Keep trying for ADR via MDE. Search every day, several times a day. Walk up is seems risky. Finally got a reservation less than 60 days out stalking MDE daily.

From what I understand, hotels do security checks as a precaution because of the mass shooting in Vegas. The killer was in the room for days with "Do Not Disturb" tag on the door. No one checked on him and he was plotting - breaking out windows and readying his guns.
