Hollywood Studios… Rope Drop RoR or Slinky?

This past Wednesday the line for ToT started moving at 8:22. RnRC was down at the opening, so perhaps the line was getting too long down Sunset Blvd and that's why it started before 8:30?

Tickets and Annual Pass Questions - Please add your ticket questions to this thread

I just received an email reminding me that my annual pass would be expiring soon and to renew it. The problem is, I purchased the annual pass in April of this year and have not yet activated it! :confused3:confused: My MDE now shows an expiration date of Oct 28 2023. Has this happened to...

    "Official" 2023 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party - Let's Get Spooky!

Well, we walked straight through the party taps on Labor Day at 5:10, so there isn't always a horrible line during the 4-6pm time period.

    "Official" 2023 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party - Let's Get Spooky!

We attended the Labor Day party with 2 people with allergies. I had read on an allergy site that one doesn't have to collect the allergy tokens to receive the allergy candy, so we skipped all of the ToT lines. One member of my party is allergic to corn and chocolate, so literally could only have...

    BCV refurbishment movement ?

3rd floor work was being done yesterday starting at 9am—could hear it from our 4th floor 1br. No work so far today, Sunday.

    Beach club studio refurbishment

Based on what we can hear from our 4th floor 1 bedroom, they are working on the 3rd floor now

    Wheelchair rental?

Good to know, thank you! An ECV is out as an option due to how they feel when flaring. No wheels at home currently :)

    Wheelchair rental?

They don't currently use a wheelchair at home, only a cane when experiencing a flare. We figured with the very long distance at WDW a wheelchair on hand, just in case, would be a good idea.

    HEA Dessert Party

Has anyone been recently (pre or post) and noticed if the back fence area was reserved for strollers only? I read a trip report on another site that only stroller groups were allowed there at one point in April. I'll be traveling with someone who will have a wheelchair, only in case they need...

What does allergy-friendly mean in WDW? - post trip report

Whoa this is really not good! I'll be at WDW with our 23yo who has multiple (multiple!) allergies, including some unusual ones. I would be beyond ticked if they can't speak with a chef. And yes, I filled out the Special Diets form for people with funky allergies.

Can you see fireworks from MK resort lounges?

We watched fireworks from the outside portion of Trader Sam's at the Poly (sorry, can't remember its name). There are multiple tables that have a really good view. It was the last stop on OUR monorail bar crawl 8-)

    Wheelchair rental?

I will! This is the first trip with a mobility device (only there should they need it) and with using DAS. My 23yo was a bit nervous about requesting the DAS but the whole process was smooth and actually pretty quick (one hour total including waiting time, started at 7:30pm eastern)

    Wheelchair rental?

Update from the OP---we went with a wheelchair rental from Scooterbug, $60 for 6 days plus the ease of having it delivered and picked up from Bell Services at two different resorts. Thanks to all who took the time to respond!

    Wheelchair rental?

Unfortunately a flare means they can't get around on their own, at least at WDW or even shopping at home. I appreciate the suggestion, though.

    Best Lounges?

We've only done this once, a year ago early March. We showed up about an hour prior to fireworks and 2 tables with good views were left. There are lots of tables out there but not all have good views. We were 3 rows back from the front edge but had a straight on view because of the way the trees...

    Wheelchair rental?

I'll be traveling to WDW in early September with 2 adult kids. One has several conditions that can flare unexpectedly, so they have requested that I rent a wheelchair in case they might need one out of the blue. I offered a scooter but they are not comfortable driving a scooter when flaring...

How many people actually drop reservations at 31 days?

It took me four days of checking multiple times a day to nab something for Sept 3! And it was a 1 bedroom at BCV! And just now I was able to switch a 2br l/o lake view at BLT for a proper BLT 2 bedroom lake view for Sept 4-8 :cheer2: I only found that original booking by checking multiple times...
