Do laundry vs packing for 7days/nights

We like to do laundry. It’s easy enough on a pool day, and especially if staying in a 1 bedroom villa. we don’t have to pack as much, and I like doing laundry near the end of the trip so we don’t have to deal with laundry mountain when we get home.

Apparently if you live in a country where gambling is illegal, you can buy the two ghosts for 200 and 300 gems. So wrong!

I've Been Vaccinated (No Politics Please)

I’m planning to go with mRNA for second dose. I didn’t do well mentally worrying about VITT for 4 weeks after the first A-Z, and it seems like mRNA will be even more effective and easier to get.

Same. We wouldn’t go to a theatre in our area yet, due to COvid. My 12 year old son wanted to see this movie, but when he saw the price tag on Disney+ he quickly said it could wait until June.

Rent a scooter for the week or rent from the park as needed?

My mom started using a scooter when she was in her late 70’s and loves it. She rents by the week so that the long walk back to the resort/around the resort isn’t a problem. She does find it takes a bit of time to get used to driving it, and she gets a little frustrated in crowds with people...

I remember back when they increased the common token requirements to such high, tedious levels. They said it was because it was going to be so much easier to get the tokens - seems they have forgotten to implement whatever they thought was going to accomplish that.

Back to School during the pandemic ...a discussion thread

So sorry you’re going through this. My son is doing virtual because I know we’d all have trouble dealing with this sort of anxiety. Best wishes that your kids are fine and the others recover quickly.

I’m not a fan of the 75 character limit. I’m only working on leveling the last 6 characters, but with having to bring in the Alice characters for the event, I’ve had to send home characters I like having out ie favourites with cute animations. When they first started the nonsense with...

Back to School during the pandemic ...a discussion thread

My Grade 7 son has been doing online learning, in the OCSB virtual academy, and it’s been excellent. He was one of the lucky ones who had teachers and was online from day 1, and they have already done three small projects with oral presentations and they jumped right into new material in math.

Back to School during the pandemic ...a discussion thread

My son is in the Ottawa Catholic School Board but doing virtual academy. He is in Grade 7 and still technically enrolled in his home school. We receive regular communication from the school, heard from the resource teacher to set up his IEP etc. The French school where a lot of his friends...

Back to School during the pandemic ...a discussion thread

My son is doing virtual learning, but we got an email from his school (Ottawa Catholic school board) saying that everyone who was considered a class contact of the high school student had been notified by an earlier email.

Next Trip To Disney: What Are You Most Excited To Do?

So much! We usually go at least once a year, often twice, but haven’t been since 2018 (did get to Tokyo Disneyland last summer). We had a trip planned in April with two other families, and DS would have had 3 of his friends with him. We are looking forward to Galaxy’s Edge, NBA Experience...

    Is 12 nights too long?

We typically stay 14-15 nights (15 because flights are often cheaper if we arrive in the evening), and don’t like to have it any shorter. We just had to cancel a trip and are considering making it 3 weeks next time to make up for it :)

Hotel recommendation - pools that don't have a ton of ball throwing going on

My son and husband are ball throwers - always with a very soft ball, and the lifeguards have checked every time. They only do it when the pool is not crowded and they try hard to find a quiet spot away from other people, but it is amazing the number of times they have to move or switch spots...

Is it okay to put family first? (Response to royal family stuff)

Just a weird question that Harry stepping away made me think of.....what happens if, heaven forbid, tragedy befalls the royal family, and the heir to the throne needs to step up before they are old enough to do so?

I agree that this event is much more relaxed. I like that they have given newer players a chance to earn some past characters through actual gameplay, and given long time players a bit of a break on an event. I also like that it is not necessary to purchase chests, but should you choose to you...

Ways to make the game more fun and enjoyable: Turn off building enchantments for character sets if all characters are already maxed out. We don’t need relic token conflicts for a gazillion Mickey or Toy Story etc attractions of we’ve had those characters maxed out for years. Require fewer relic...
