The bell desk is located right next to check-in. They will hold your luggage until your room is ready….no need to email them.

I agree with everyone that you can make a request at anytime, but I was once told by a cm at GCH that they start to “map out” the room assignments around 10 days in advance so that is the best time to call & request. Not sure if this is 100 percent true but it’s worked for us….

That’s a great deal but it looks like Ares Travel has an even better rate. For a 3 Day Hopper (no Genie +) we will save around $20 more/ticket if I’m reading it right…

Usually but there was one time where I dropped off my family & went directly across to the parking lot. I told the attendant that my family was checking in & he raised the gate & let me park….

No there’s only about 5-10 stalls. Right after you pass the valet you make a left turn into the small lot

If you go past the valet they have an area of designated parking stalls on the left so that you can park and check-in/drop off luggage. Then to self park just go across the street and the parking attendant will direct you where to park.

Besides all of the above we really enjoy storybook canal….it’s neat how the little houses are all lit up!

We normally stay at VGC but made a last minute trip earlier this month and ended up staying at the Westin. We loved it! Like all the pp said it’s a gorgeous hotel with very modern rooms and the walk is very safe! From now on if we can’t stay on property this will be our go to hotel.....

So coming from DLH you would take a right before the security into downtown Disney & head towards PP. when u come to the roundabout take a left towards GCH & cross Disneyland Dr. U will come to 2 security gates, take the right one that leads to CA for hotel guests. The security line moved...

We just got back & one suggestion.... for EE into DCA you may want to try the new entrance in front of GC. We went at 7:15 and the line was really short. Ya it’s a farther walk to Webslingers etc but u don’t have to go nearly as early....

Hopefully you’ll be able to get the GC villas, we just love those rooms & you really can’t beat the proximity to the parks (although the new PP entrance to DCA also helps if can’t get it).

Since you are staying at the GC, if you are into the Mickey sugar cookies buy the ones in the lobby. One of the CM's told us that even though they are the same ones sold in the park, since they are the located closest to the bakery that makes them, they are the freshest...

As for #3, for the past few days if a ride went down at Disneyland, the LL converted to an anytime pass for any ride except for ROTR and strangely Indy. It actually let us use it for a duplicate ride, meaning we could use it on Big Thunder again even though we rode it earlier in the day.

I’m not sure how many 3 bedroom suites are at the GC.....the one I am aware of is located above the World of Disney so it’s pretty much at the other end of the resort. I wouldn’t let that discourage you tho because it’s a beautiful resort that I think your family will really enjoy! We’ve done...

Actually, I think your sister got a 3 bedroom suite on the hotel side. There are only 2 GV’s and they are almost impossible to obtain with a cash reservation. In fact I think it’s almost impossible, unfortunately, to get any type of villa with a cash res cause there are so few to begin with...

We will be at the VGC from the 9th-14th. Can’t wait to finally go back!! We just love going during the holiday season!
