    Rides completely different/unique than Disneyland

I live in California too so DL is my home park and I can tell u everything about it. I’ve been to WDW 20 or so times and still know very little. My thoughts: MK-BTMRR is much better than the DL version. POC in DL is better. HM (especially the holiday version) is so much better at DL. IASW is...

    D23 EXPO 2019 Superthread - dates announced!

The no-cost reservation will be interesting. Those staying in the three resort hotels will get one reservation per person, but everyone else will have to vie for the others that are available. At least they'll control the roll-our during the initial opening and they did it at no additional cost!

    Whitewater opening 11/22

It appears (according to the app) that Whitewater in GCH will be open on 11/22. I had heard that it wouldn’t originally open until 2019. Has anyone who is staying there soon or seen anything published confirm this, or is it a mistake on the app???

    Hotel with monorail view

Our last two trips (April, September 2018) we've stayed with a courtyard view at the GCH. The monorail view is fabulous and we'd always run to the balcony to see the color of the monorail passing at that time. Some of the rooms at GCH have bunk beds, but I'm not sure they have the two queens...

Mickey's Halloween Party and Halloween Time Superthread 2018!!

Launch Bay is where the AP “corner” is. They sell AP merchandise, have a treat trail and you get a button and postcard. It’s interesting they’re asking this on a survey.

"Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort" Guided Tour

The tours, used to be so much better. I’ve done this particular one 3 times and while the seating for the parade is fantastic- chairs opposite the entrance to IASW the rest of it is pretty boring. They used to take you in 3 or 4 rides but know they feel it’s better to have them be 100% walking...

Anyone been to Naples Pizzeria lately?

I can look tomorrow but I don’t think the toGo is open. The main restaurant is open and looks stunning. It appears they have the counter service side closed now for updates.

Disneyland Hotel Offers During the Christmas Season?

Last year we got a “welcome back rate” in late September. Stayed at the Grand for $375/night.

    Justifying the price of GCH

The first time we stayed at the Grand it was $169/night. We fell in love with both the hotel and the price. To our dismay the next time we checked it was far more expensive. But...... we wait for the deals (AP rates, welcome back rates, Visa card rates) and have stayed every year since. For...
