What happens to regular customers in Disneyland during 'Star Wars Night'?

Once they start letting Star Wars party attendees in, it gets pretty crowded. Otherwise the rest of the day wasn't noticeably worse to me. Maybe rope drop and head out around 7 pm?

Anaheim Desert Inn vs. Tropicana Inn & Suites?

Seconded. We stayed at the Desert Inn a few years ago and it was like sleeping on a rock there. Just got back from a stay at the Tropicana and it was a much better bed. The walk is about the same from both hotels.

Just Twiddling My Thumbs Waiting for Star Wars Nite Tix

We've gone the last two years but I didn't bother buying this time. I love the costumes, music, and short ride lines but they didn't add enough other things of interest for us to feel compelled to go a third time.

    Any Recommendations

We stayed at Suncoast Hotel in September 2022. It was about a 15 minute walk and had a nice pool.

    Sept Halloween Half Marathon crowds?

I don't know when the Southern California discount tickets lapse but the last two years it's been closer to the end of September. The crowds seemed much higher to us during that period so it's something to take into account.

Should I get a magic key?

We live in New Mexico and have the Enchant key. The lack of Saturdays didn't seem like an issue initially but I'm leaning toward upgrading when that's possible. It's so cheap compared to when we were paying for tickets each time that has absolutely been worth it for us. I think it only takes...

    LAX rental car-offsite?

We rented from LAX to drive to Disneyland and explore the day we got in. We then just dropped the car off at one of the rental places on Katella. It ended up being about $70 for the day and we didn't have to worry about parking.

    Basic Disneyland park question

I don't think anyone on this board knows for certain but I believe they're going to keep the reservation system at Disneyland. It seems helpful for them in terms of staffing so I don't see a real incentive for them to drop it.

Brace your wallets: Disneyland ticket/MK prices went up.

When I was bored last night, I went through the Believe and Enchant calendars and counted non-blockout dates. I didn't have a key until earlier this year so I don't how much either have been reduced from previous years. We had been looking at upgrading to Believe but the low number of Saturdays...

Brace your wallets: Disneyland ticket/MK prices went up.

Has anyone calculated how many more blockout dates Believe has? We are newer Enchant key holders and I was contemplating a slight upgrade to Believe to have fewer blockout dates.

    ***November 2023 Check-in Thread***

We're going that exact weekend as newish out-of-state Magic Keyholders and I was concerned reservations would be difficult to get. There was no issue. Then last night I bought a park hopper for a local friend who will meet us there - again no issue. To be on the safe side I would book by the...

    ***November 2023 Check-in Thread***

We're scheduled for November 12-13 and will be staying for the first time at the King's Inn. The prices of the nearby hotels on Harbor hurt my cheap soul. We're in good shape for walking and might try using the shuttle at the Toy Story Lot.

Imagine Key Blockout dates for 2024

All of the passes are dirt cheap compared to paying the one-day park hopper rate. Isn't the highest pass only $1,600 or $1,700? For that you only have to go 7 times to break even. As an out-of-state visitor who used to pay full price before getting the Enchant key, these passes are a screaming...

Side of mashed potatoes? Scrambled eggs? Need soft foods.

Jolly Holidays tomato soup is smooth and tasty.

How can they add more value to the Inspire Key to increase sales?

We live in New Mexico and usually visit Disneyland two to three times per year. We have the Enchant key because financially that is a cheaper deal than purchasing park hoppers. For us, there's nothing Disney could add to Inspire to make it worth more than double the price.

What time do Magic Key reservations drop?

We're fairly new out-of-state Enchant key holders. I've booked reservations once for a less busy time with no problem. Now we're discussing a trip November 12-13. I just saw that a Dapper Day is scheduled for November 12th so I'm slightly concerned that getting reservations will be more...

    Long Beach airport.

We flew out of there in May. It was a quick Lyft ride from Alpine Inn, a bit longer than SNA but not bad. Our driver took a route that went through some neighborhoods in Anaheim which was a nice change from the freeway. There aren't a lot of food options at LGB so that's a small detractor.

    Most comfortable hotel bed?

I agree about Desert Inn. That's what inspired me to ask the question. Those beds were so hard and lumpy that both of us had a difficult time getting comfortable. I've been interested in the Candy Cane Inn. So glad to hear the beds good. Thank you!
