How hard is it to book rooms at the Grand Floridian for owners? Thinking of buying at that ridiculous $207 price!

How was the pick up process with National? We are flying with Hawaiian Airlines and I believe they use terminal two for their arrival flights. Our reservation is also with National.

Hello, we are planning on taking the dcl transfer from port to wdw after cruise but would like to know the process and if it gets you to wdw before noon. If you have done it, how has your experience been? We are a family of four with two kids 12 and 8 months, thanks!

We are most interested in having the ability to go on the member cruise. Having access to a gold annual pass is a great benefit. Also the special member events.

I would also like to have 11 month access to DW. I’ve searched for small contracts and they are around $120 pp for an extended OKW contract. Direct price is about $151.

Thinking of buying OKW direct, 75 pts to get all perks. Thoughts on being an owner there. I know that with a direct purchase I will have an extended contract til 2057. I already own a subsidized resale contract @Aulani.

Soon we’ll also have to start thinking about the rumored construction set to begin in the empty piece of land next to Aulani. The company who purchased the land is planning to build an Atlantis type resort like the one in the Bahamas.

Based on all the reallocation and issues booking studios, what is a good amount of points to purchase from DVC?

Does anyone know what benefits Disney can possibly take away from current members? I’m not talking about perks, since we all know those can go away at any time. I’m talking about things like the “free” parking, “free” laundry, 11 months or 7 month window.

DVC guides pride themselves in the fact that they don't have to hustle people in the parks to visit the kiosks or purchase DVC. They say that word of mouth and members sell their memberships. I don't think that will be the case going forward!

With the new restrictions, how can someone purchase a direct contract @Riviera knowing that if they need to sell, whoever purchases would only be able to stay at that resort. Disney trying to kill resale!

When you get 2017 pts and 2018 pts Dec use year now, do you pay dues on those two sets of points?

Thank you! We usually travel to DW in January or February. We are taking advantage of the 2017 pts to book a Halloween trip basically and do a Disney Cruise too. We have gone back and forth on direct or resale but for CC direct makes the most sense.

We’ve gone to the magic kingdom the last two times in January and February before hopping on a Disney cruise. We are planning October to use 2017 pts and a Halloween cruise.

Thank you, I’m looking at DVC availability tool for CC, and September and half of October 2019 for a CC studio are wide open. Our trip starts October 28 2019 so I cant book yet. I have heard of the “walking” a reservation thing but don’t know much about it yet.
