    General Advice for 2 Days?

I just came back from a two day trip to the park at the end of July. I will echo everyone else and say park hoppers are a must and MaxPass makes a huge difference. I've been a bunch of times before but never for so short a trip as this time. As many people will tell you, DCA is barely a full day...

    Making Plans

Unpopular opinion here, but I wouldn't recommend making your arrival day a park day. I've done it myself twice now and it always leaves me feeling a bit chaotic. Arriving at the parks first thing in the morning is magical, it's my very favorite time of day. Crowds are at the lowest, everything...

Hotel prices for summer keep dropping..

I have a stay at the CCI booked in July (been booked since the fall) and I just noticed that the rates had dropped for my dates. I emailed the hotel and they updated my booking to reflect the cheaper rates. For anyone who has a stay already booked, check the current rates being offered at your...

    *** July 2019 - Check In ***

My husband and I will be staying at the Candy Cane Inn from Friday, July 26 - Tuesday, July 30. We are meeting my SIL and her family as part of their larger California vacation. We will go to Universal Studios one day, Disneyland Resort another day, and one day is still to be determined. I'm...

    Trader Sam's

Can someone remind me of what the table set up is like/how large of groups they can accommodate? I'll be visiting with a group of six and I can't remember if they have any tables larger than four top... Thanks!

Hotel recommendation for young couple no kids?

The Disney Tourist Blog Hotel Ratings recommends Hotel Indigo as best budget spot for couples without kids. I believe they offer free parking too. Haven't stayed there but it's on my list to try. Otherwise, I also suggest the Candy Cane Inn. Free parking and breakfast, and decently short walk.

Carthay Circle, Blue Bayou, Carnation Cafe : Which is a "must"?

I agree with most of the previous comments... My pick would be Blue Bayou. I did Carthay Circle last time and we were were disappointed. It's certainly fancy and feels more elegant, but the food and service were meh. Will skip it next time. Blue Bayou would make for a special experience you...

    Surviving Summer 2019 at Disneyland!

We have a trip planned for the end of July since we'll be in San Diego for a wedding. I'd love to avoid the SWGE madness (I'm not that into Star Wars... eek), but since we're flying in from Canada it's harder to say no to an opportunity to visit Disney since they don't come around too often...

    Summer 2019 stay help/advice please

Agreed with above, Downtown Disney isn't going to take up a full day. My family typically spends time in Downtown Disney the day we fly in. It's something fun to do for a few hours and a taste of Disney without wasting admission on a partial day. Laguna is stunning. Highly recommend. I stayed...

Anybody have a poor experience at Carthay?

My husband and I ate there during our trip last December and we were so excited for it, it was our big splurge for the trip. There was nothing terrible about it, but we agreed we would never bother to return. We weren't impressed and regretted the big spend. We were seated in one of the side...
