Magic Bands fitting properly/ do you carry hard ticket back up

A small piece of duct tape, 1/4 inch wide and 1 1/2 inches long, wrapped around the secured Magic Band will prevent it falling off. We always carry a roll of duct tape with us in our luggage when we go to Florida. It comes in handy for numerous 'quick-fix' uses and only costs a few dollars...

    Crazy Airfare! :(

Don't quote me on this but as you won't be staying over the weekend, your tickets may be priced higher. I looked at the flights/prices from BDL (Hartford) to MCO (Orlando) for your dates and it appears that Monday to Friday is more expensive than Monday to Sunday/Monday. The cheapest flights I...

    Debating ecv rental, please help

We definitely recommend Gold Mobility Scooters for renting an ECV. If you read through the thread on this section about them you'll see that many others also do, and why.

    ECV Rental question

The ECV's that are available for rent at Gold Mobility Scooters DO NOT beep when you back up. They do have horns, but you must press the button on the control console in order to use them.

    Orange Lake Information Thread

As most of River Island's water activities and bars will be closed during that time, the greatest number and variety of daily activities will center around the West Village pool area, for both kids and adults. I would not recommend requesting any Villa's/Suite's/rooms in the West Village, but...

We hope all is well with you as we truly enjoy your trip reports and you haven't added/completed this one in almost a month. The 'suspense factor' wanes over time!

Lunch favorites in the Magic Kingdom

Our recommendation would be for Columbia Harbour House if you can't get any ADR's or walk-in's.

    A First-Timer's Trip Report - Oct. 1 - 15, 2018

“What’s the first thing you want to do when you retire?” my fiance’ John asked me late in May, 2018. After the insane six week period from early April till May 24th, wherein I had finalized training my replacement, retired from my 38-1/2 year career at Peter Pan Bus Lines, then turned 65 the...

Anyone else completely priced out of the buffets at Disney now?

While I can agree with most of what has been said here I did find that Whispering Canyon Cafe AYCTE breakfast buffet, at Fort Wilderness Lodge, was very worth the $19.00 per person charge. You might pay a few dollars less at someplace like Golden Corral, but are you getting the same quality?

Spirit check in at MCO - Update 12/24 post 17

Sorry to burst anyone's bubble about Spirit but we returned with them on October 15, 2018 from MCO to BDL and have firmly resolved to NEVER fly with them again! Our flight was to leave at 4:15 pm and we finally got off the ground at 7:17 pm. In addition to what is an ever-increasing timeliness...

2018 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival: August 30 to November 12, 2018

For What It's Worth .... We were at Epcot on Thursday, October 4th ( 1 pm to 9 pm) and Saturday, October 13th (at Rope Drop). The number of drunks stumbling around both days told us that we will never go to Epcot again during F & W. Understandably, there were a lot of them before/after...

What is the appeal of the dessert parties?

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the Fantasmic VIP Dessert Party. We did this on 10/2/2018 and found it to be the most 'economical', yet highest value, of all of the dessert parties at $39. each. We reserved the 7:20 pm entrance and were allowed to bypass the stand-by lines with no...

    Huge drop in Budget rental!

We had made a prepaid Budget rental back at the end of May 2018 for Oct. 1 - 15th, and I have been checking it at least once a week. A few times over the summer the same rental vehicle/time/price had risen, but yesterday I was ecstatic to find that it had dropped by over $156.00 from our...
