Everything Park Hopping - Please Read Post 1

How strict have the parks been with the 2:00 hopping time? Have there been reports of hoppers being allowed in early? If so, how early?

Ale and Compass at the Yacht Club, I think I need to make an ADR

Ale & Compass is wonderful. Food and service are alway quite good. It’s one of the few non-signature table service restaurants I go to on a regular basis.

    Best Steak, paying OOP?

Not Le Cellier. Yachtsman and Shula's, as others have suggested. They also have a great steak at Flying Fish, which is also not in the park, but is in the Epcot resort area.

Geyser Point Bar & Grill in Wilderness Lodge question

No indoor seating. It's covered, but outdoors. Not quick (counter) service - you sit at a table and order from a waiter.

    Tell me about Il Mulino

Been there many times. One of my favorites on property. Great food and service. As others have said, they do not allow charging to the Magic Band, but they do accept the Tables in Wonderland card (20% off),if you have one.

    Magic band question..

I like the idea of putting the date of the trip on the MB. I'm going to start doing that!

    Tiffins or Flying Fish?

Tiffins is great - it was the best meal of our trip last spring. However, the food is always great at FF and I really like the whimsical decor, so I would go there. (But, as others have said, you can't go wrong with either one.)

Chefs de France or Liberty Tree Tavern?

Chefs de France has much better food and ambiance than LTT. However, it's not as easy to get to from Polynesian as LTT would be (although it's not that hard - just a monorail ride and a walk through Epcot).

    Crews Cup Lounge, horrible experience

I love the Crew's Cup. I really like the decor and cozy feel of the place. I go there on almost every trip to Disney and have been for over 20 years. That being said, on more than one occasion, I've gone in, sat down at a table or booth and had no server come near me for 10 minutes or more...

Where to eat for dinner in Epcot hotels??

bluezoo is among our faves at WDW. Il Mulino is good Italian. Ale and Compass is a very nice non-signature restaurant.

    Most Romantic Restaurant On Property

My faves for a quiet adult dinner: Jiko, bluezoo and Citrico's. Do not do Cal Grill for a quiet, romantic dinner. The restaurant is frequently filled with families making time waiting for the fireworks, so it can get loud with lots of activity. Don't get me wrong - I love the food at Cal...

    Swan & dolphin breakfast options

Here's another vote for Fresh. Great buffet and they also have an omelet station. Love the breakfast there!

    Free Cutting Board for AP

I love the idea of the cutting board and am looking forward to getting mine. I loved the old fashioned cocktail glasses they gave out a couple years ago; we got two, but recently broke one, so I have to be extra careful with the remaining one. I'm sure the cutting board will be harder to break.

How does Monsieur Paul compare to V& A

They aren't really "in the same league", as others have said, but that's not a bad thing. I like fine dining as much as (probably more) than the next guy, but V&A was over the top for me. I'm glad I went once, but am unlikely to ever go again. That being said, MP compares well to any of the...

    Resort touring....

Go to GF and take the walking path to Poly. At WL, walk on over to FW. At any of the moderate resorts, explore the grounds (they are so big and spread out, it's a great walk around the whole resort). Walk around the lagoon at the Epcot resorts, stopping to visit at each resort (especially at...

Are "walk ins" possible at Il Mulino at the Swan? Other walk in suggestions?

I don't think you will have any trouble doing a "walk in" at Il Mulino at that time. It may even be easier than during the week, since there is less likely to be a convention crowd there on a Friday night. But, as others have said, if that doesn't work, you can always eat at the bar.

    Boardwalk vs. Beach Club

I've stayed at both resorts multiple times and they are both awesome. So, as others have said, you can't go wrong with whichever you choose. That being said, if you are looking for reasons to prefer BWI over BC, here's what would make my list: 1. There's a few new restaurants at the...

    Best New Restaurant Since 2015

I agree with the recommendation for Tiffin's. I've been there twice in the last year and it was excellent both times. A very pleasant surprise!

    Gartner Symposium at Coronado Springs

Like some other posters, I've been a guest at an Epcot resort a few times during the Gartner symposium. All those attendees make the bars and restaurants in the area a little more crowded, but it's not too bad. Also, seeing all the Gartner folks with their lanyards working and networking all...

    Best non-park breakfast on property?

Fresh Mediterranean Market at the Dolphin has a delicious breakfast buffet.
