We entered (tapped in) at 7am for a 7:30am early entry this past week, walked to FOP with the masses, and waited 25 minutes until we entered the ride.

We would have definitely taken Disney transportation, but we are staying at a close-by Hilton. Definitely a nice perk of being on-site :)

From my (limited) understanding, the DS hotels and a few others are eligible for early theme park entry but are not eligible for $ILL at 7am. Edited to add info in case it helps anyone... https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/early-entry/ But for $ILL, from Disney's website...

That's a good plan, thank you. I'm waiting for August 7th to see if rides are shifted back to $ILL. If they aren't, we'd try for an early Remy if at all possible. Then G+ Soarin and TT (Single Rider, hopefully ok with my DS11 and DD9). I'm the only one who wants to reride Frozen 😭 this trip...
