What is the appeal of the dessert parties?

I know it is a lot, but it was worth it. My husband was very anti-Disney World Vacations before we went ... And now we are planning our next trip and he "gets it" ... I am not saying that it was this dessert party ... but he still talks about it! ;) The price is $79.00 per adult (age 10 and...

Worth it for a 5 year old

THIS! We took our trip 6 months ago with my 5 and 8 years old and they both struggled to stay up until the fire works quite honestly because we had such active days. We did do the fireworks party for The Star Wars show at Hollywood Studios and the kids loved it! And we watched the Fireworks and...

Hollywood Studios and Uber drop off

Does anyone who know if this is still the case? Will be headed to Disney next week and plan on using Uber/Lyft to get around. Thank you!

What is the appeal of the dessert parties?

My family just went to Disney in April. It was our first trip as a family and I wanted it to be really special for everyone. We did the Star Wars Dessert Party in Hollywood Studios. It was probably one of my husbands favorite events. They had storm troopers walking through and taking photos...

My sister and I are headed in November! We are so excited to hit up the end of the Food and Wine Festival! We are going ADULT only ... Which is almost the most exciting part of the trip! We are also limiting our sit sown dining to 3 (we will be doing a lot of booths for Food and Wine) 'Ohana...

Early Morning Magic - Fantasy Land MK

So, I was just wondering what are the chances of people canceling this type of a reservation. My sister and I are heading to Disney the first week in November so I am looking at the November 4th date and it seems like it was sold out the date that it came available and I would really love to get...

*****Come join the FUN! - OFFICIAL April 2018 Thread*****

4/16-6/29 Toy Story Mania Facts & Discussion - NEWS: Ride Open w/Same Day FP (6/19-29)

So, when they do a same day fast pass is it available at 7am? Or is it only available once you enter the park? This is my first time going to Disney since they started fast passes this way, so I just want to be sure what time I should be checking next week while we are there. Thank you

Toy Story Mania rope drop with no FP's and one track

Has anyone done rope drop? How are the crowds? Obviously the no fast pass expectation is there, regardless if they are available once you get in ... So is it busier than normal at rope drop?

    Moana?!

RIGHT! I mean they COULD do several things O'hana/Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show ... But it is like they are not even TRYING ... And that is what is frustrating ... They have these fantastic movies that have come out and been out for a while and they are not incorporating them at ALL. Moana and...

FOP Fast Pass. Are us "30 day" off property people screwed???

Keep looking I scored FP+ for FoP 2 weeks out ... I still see them DAILY for Navi River for the date we are going to be there ... People change their plans all the time and you might luck out!

    Moana?!

Moana would be top for my family too! Even my husband loves that movie! Regardless of the princess debate ... It would have been nice to even book a character dining if they can't keep her in the parks for a M&G. SOMETHING ... I am really disappointed that my kids won't have a chance to meet the...

Disney requires too much planning? Are they shooting themselves?

This is a great post and great questions! I remember when I was younger and lived in Florida we had Annual Passes and there was no Fast Pass System yet and it did seem like we just went to the park without really giving thought to anything that might require planning. As a matter of fact when I...

    No more low crowds?

Oh man, I never heard of this rule! I scheduled our MK day on a Monday  I am definitely expecting larger crowds now reading the disboards. I think going in with the right attitude will help. I feel a little nervous because it has been a long time since the last time I went to Disney and...

    Moana M&G?

This is so disappointing. My girls LOVE LOVE Moana. You would think that they would be able to do a character meal or something, even if she could not be out in the parks all the time. :(

Ultimate Day of Thrills VIP Tour

I was wondering the same thing. My sister and I are going in November just the two of us for a quick 3 days and I was thinking we might be able to save some good time with this Tour! I notice that it did not list Any rides in Animal Kingdom ... I am not sure that they could be fit in ... But I...

Here Now - HS on first day of no TSM FP

Right! I was surprised to see it at 60 minute wait right now. I was expecting longer wait times. Hopefully it stays that way for our trip in 2 weeks!

4/16-6/29 Toy Story Mania Facts & Discussion - NEWS: Ride Open w/Same Day FP (6/19-29)

I have heard that it is possible to sign up for Jedi Training prior to rope drop as you are allowed into the park far enough to sign up prior to "rope drop" -- which would mean we might be able to make it back to rope drop line in time to get on the ride fairly early. Hopefully we will know more...
