    ADVICE NEEDED! HOLIDAY 2021!

Hello all! Pleae re-direct this thread if this is the incorrect board to ask this. This seemed the most fitting. Anyways, I am planning to take my sister to WDW for her 16th bday during the holiday season, December 2021. I know these dates have not yet been released, but I am wondering when next...

I don't think I'll be doing the Dining Plan next visit

Staying longer sounds heavenly but i'm one of those people who loves being immersed in the disney bubble. I also enjoy not havin to worry about a car and parking.

So, I think I've been "Disney Shamed"...

hey different strokes for different folks. Who cares how others choose to spend their time and money!?

I don't think I'll be doing the Dining Plan next visit

The general consensus seems to be that going the no dining plan route is more cost efficient (if you don't need all that food and won't be doing character meals) but also takes a certain amount of budgeting to make sure you have enough to afford meals for x amount of days.

So, I think I've been "Disney Shamed"...

tbh people like that are just dead set on thinking Disney is lame that they're not even worth arguing with!

So, I think I've been "Disney Shamed"...

For most of us, if not all of us, Disney is our happy place. It holds a special place in our hearts. We visit the parks and consume the movies and shows and purchase the merch because it brings us a certain kind of happiness that other things don't. Just like how some people go to Mexico every...

Well, I did it. Completed my first solo trip.

It's my dream to go one day alone on my bday and just treat myself to all my favorite foods and rides and snacks without anyone to compromise with!

I don't think I'll be doing the Dining Plan next visit

Wow, thank you all so much for all the feedback! I apologize for the delay, I hadn't logged in in a few days. Based off 90% of the responses on here, I think I will in fact skip the dining plan next visit. I'm such a creature of habit, that it took 3 trips in my adulthood to realize that it...

I don't think I'll be doing the Dining Plan next visit

I can't believe I'm saying this, but.... As someone who has ALWAYS gotten the dining plan, I think the next time I go to WDW (hoping for 2021), I'll be paying OOP. I always enjoyed the convenience of not having to "pay" every time I ate, but once I realized my sister and I were pretty much...

Harmony of the Seas trip report! Dec 23-30

I think the difference will be obvious, though. What I'm referring to is 5-10 chair in a row that don't even look like they've been sat in. It's clearly one person from a party that goes and grabs x amount of towers and messily drapes them over chairs and then goes and eats breakfast for an...

New Year's Eve week plans? Help? Thoughts?

If you do intend on being in the parks on NYE, plan to get there early. Like others have said, it will be packed. When I was at MK on NYE 2014, the park was near reaching capacity at 10 am.

    Asthma and the summer humidity

I have asthma and my discomfort is triggered by environmental changes, humidity being one of them. I do just fine when i'm in WDW. Going in and out of air conditioning helps break up the day so its not like it's just a straight 12 hours in heat. Does he have a maintenance inhaler? Or just a...

    Magical express question

It isn't too bad. I wouldn't reccomend having anything booked too close to your plane landing though. I'd give yourself 2-3 hours just to be on the safe side.

Just a reminder. Don’t drink and drive at WDW!

The fact that grown adults even need to be reminded to not drink and drive is sad, but I appreciate the sentiment. When it comes down to it, choose the $20 uber instead of the $10k DUI.

    Pool Day or Water Park?

I can't speak from experience because I personally have never visited the water parks, but I think your decision should be based on what exactly you like having your pool days for. Is it to take a load off your feet and stay out of the parks and get some time to relax? Or is it another form of...

Is the Skyliner making you consider any resort you normally wouldn't stay at?

My next trip, I intend on going to caribbean beach because the renovations look lovely. But the gondolas are certainly an added bonus.
