Ridiculous thing that I saw at Costco

It was made from Monk fruit.

Universal now requiring documentation be sent to a third party for accessibility

I only say that because you keep responding to me and defending them, as if you had more information than the rest of us do. I have said my peace. I won't be responding to you anymore.

Ridiculous thing that I saw at Costco

So I went to Costco yesterday and they were sampling some coffee. They had a sweetener there to use that they were also trying to promote. The package said "Plant based sugar". Seriously? Are people really falling for this? Does everyone not know where sugar comes from? I really, really hate...

3 wheel stroller or 4? We are leaving in September and I need to get a stroller for a 5 year old. Any thoughts on 3 vs 4 wheels?

It is all very easy. You will clearly see where the stroller parking areas are, mostly because it will be full of strollers. LOL The only ride that I can think of that has you enter the line with your stroller and have the cast member take it half way is the Safari at AK. Every other ride you...

Universal now requiring documentation be sent to a third party for accessibility

No, but it sure as heck limits how many people have access to it. Again, you have no valid explanation for why this particular company should even be doing this job.

IMO, it would be better for the theme parks to directly deal with you, even if they do ask for a note from the doctor. Using this third party company is an added step and yet more people to have your information that don't need it. It is this random third party, that is primarily an Autism...

Universal now requiring documentation be sent to a third party for accessibility

That post was taken down. Sorry you didn't see it. And how does the poster expect people to "just say what your comfortable with" when your medical issues are your medical issues. There is no "picking" which one is less uncomfortable for you. I know some of you are trying to help but you clearly...

Universal now requiring documentation be sent to a third party for accessibility

So just "pick a disability" and have your doctor right a note for it? What are you saying? People don't get to pick what their medical condition is. And being older and having physical limitations is not even close to the same thing as people's disabilities. That is expected when you get older...

You are defending this company like you own it. Do you have insider info in this company or are you just trusting?

Universal now requiring documentation be sent to a third party for accessibility

None of what they do qualifies them to verify if your medical issues are covered under the ADA.

Universal now requiring documentation be sent to a third party for accessibility

Literally anyone can make a company and website and say that they are Autism "experts" and give out advice. I am still trying to figure out how they went from giving out advice on traveling with autism to having access to people's medical information. What qualifies them to do this when clearly...

    Covid positive- now what?

What was used on the Wish is clearly some kind of "air freshener" style perfume. It smelled like cheap old lady perfume. I have a hyper sense of smell so that doesn't help me at all. But it was strong enough that it would stick to people's clothing and hair since I could smell it on some people...

You and a lot of other people. Sad that people are not questioning these companies more. Only when there is some kind of data breach do people get angry about it.

    Covid positive- now what?

I went on the Wish last year and they pipe in some kind of perfume into the airways that was really strong in the lobby. That immediately set off my allergies. My eyes got red and teared up, my nose kept running, I had a cough. All of the typical allergic reaction symptoms. No one said a word to...

3 wheel stroller or 4? We are leaving in September and I need to get a stroller for a 5 year old. Any thoughts on 3 vs 4 wheels?

Jogging strollers are the best. They have better maneuverability and are much easier to push with bigger kids. They also tend to have much higher handles than other strollers.

So you have no problem with giving your medical information with this random company? Where you don't know how they are handling that information or if they are even qualified to verify anything? You are that trusting and carefree about your personal information?

Universal now requiring documentation be sent to a third party for accessibility

And how does someone that travels solo leave the line to use the restroom numerous times and go back to where they were? How is that "accommodating"? And you clearly are missing my point. How is this company qualified to even verify what is covered under the ADA? Under who's authority? They...

Universal now requiring documentation be sent to a third party for accessibility

So I Googled this company. This "approving" of your disability looks like a nice side hustle for them. I wonder how much they are getting paid to say that "yes, you have medical issues". This is what the company is.. The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards...

Universal now requiring documentation be sent to a third party for accessibility

No, how do they determine who's diagnosis is worthy enough to be sent to US to be given accommodations? Have you not heard that some people are being denied by them? And we all know that not everyone with the same diagnosis have the same issues. You think that they just go under what the ADA...

Universal now requiring documentation be sent to a third party for accessibility

Honestly, I don't know how so many people are comfortable using this third party company. Who are these people that we are handing over our medical information to? How are they securing it? Who are these people to decide what kind of disabilities they think should get accommodations and which...
