    San Francisco > Monterey> LA > Disneyland

We loved it! While it was a little pricey compared to other hop on hop off type tours, it was worth it for us, as we had so much we wanted to see and not a lot of time to do it all. This was just our family, so it was very personalized. Most places we were able to get off and take pics or...

    San Francisco > Monterey> LA > Disneyland

Hi all, We just returned from an incredible 10 night trip starting in San Francisco and ending up in Disneyland. It was such a fun trip and I spent a lot of time researching it - thought I would post a quick round up of our itinerary in case someone was planning a similar trip. Feel free to...

    Warner brothers studio tour

We were there on Friday, the first day they had the Big Bang Theory set open! It was so fun to see it. We got to sit in Sheldon's spot, ha! It was funny because I didn't realize until the morning of the tour that the BBT stuff was going to be on display. Even the guide that did the golf cart...

Family Trip Los Angeles to San Francisco

We just did a trip where we started in San Francisco down the coast to LA, then ended with a few nights in Disney Land. We got sidetracked visiting a family member on our last day in LA and hit the traffic at a terrible time - it ended up taking over 2 hours to get to Disneyland. So, I'd say...

First DisneyLAND trip! Tips and tricks?

We just got back from our first Disneyland trip after going to Disney World many times. I was so nervous about it, but we loved it. It is much more of a relaxed experience vs Disney World. I really like the Max Pass concept - booking fast passes after park entry as opposed to months in...

VIP Tour now that SWGE is open to all

We just got back from California and did a tour a few days ago. It was great - we got so much done and toured for about 8 hours. Our experience was similar to Malcon10t - our guide went and got a reservation time while we were on a ride. We did a few more things then headed over to Galaxy's...

Any updates on VIP tours and SWGE?

I just received an email with that pricing. Honestly, not as bad as I was expecting, but still pretty steep. Decisions... Decisions...

Any updates on VIP tours and SWGE?

We have booked a VIP tour for June 28. I have not received any updated pricing or info on SWGE yet. This is our first and probably only trip to DL with our kids for the forseeable future, and so it *could* be worth it for us depending on the actual pricing and access. If the prices are...

    June 2019 Check In

We will be at the Grand Californian from June 28-July 1. We will only have 2 park days. Booked this trip before we knew about Galaxy's Edge opening and this is our first trip to Disneyland. We are pretty nervous about the crowds and trying to manage expectations. But we will be wrapping up...

Change of Pace - No Dining Plan, More Quick Service and few ADR's - March 2018

Thanks all for joining in. Life kind of sucker punched me this week with some major things going on at work and at home :crazy2:. Sorry for the delay, but glad to know I will at least have a few readers! I plan on posting Day 2 and maybe Day 3 tomorrow. See ya then!

On the off chance, someone can confirm this for me...

We just returned from a VIP tour earlier in March. We started our tour at 1 pm and toured until park close. We told our (awesome) guide what we wanted to do for the day and he did all the planning. He knew what times would be best for which park based on what rides we wanted to do. So relax...

4 Parks 1 Day- I’m Not Afraid of a Few Stinkin’ Cheerleaders: A February Tale: Update 11/5

Chiming in to say that I am enjoying your Trip Report. Can’t wait to hear about your 4 parks in 1 day experience. We did this a couple of years ago and it is still one of our favorite Disney days ever!

Talk to me about the Minnie Vans

I wanted to chime in on our recent experiences with the Minnie Vans, especially compared with regular Uber or Lyft. We used the Minnie Vans at least 10 times during our March 9-16 trip and we loved it! The MV’s are always super clean and the drivers are all Disney Cast members and knew where...

Change of Pace - No Dining Plan, More Quick Service and few ADR's - March 2018

Ahh we enjoyed it for dinner just wished we had done it on another night! And since we were staying at Wilderness Lodge, I had breakfast booked there but we ended up canceling it and never made it there for breakfast, which was a bummer!

    Cosmic Ray Remodeling?

We were told they are adding more outdoor seating. We ate there last week and it was open!

Best Resort/Disney Springs restaurants with kids

How old are your kids? T-Rex or Rainforest Cafe are always a must do for us- our kids love them. We like ‘Ohana or Kona for breakfast and Whispering Canyon is a lot of fun for dinner. ‘Ohana is another favorite of the adults for dinner but this last time our kids didn’t enjoy it as much.

How would you improve your Disney restaurant experience?

I agree with several posters above. Definitely offer more variety, especially in the quick service locations. I also love the restaurants that text you when your table is ready but found that was not offered at many places. Love the new mobile ordering options and QS locations!

I think I already know the answer, but...

This is so frustrating to me! We experienced this recently with a cheer competition and because of this I ended up having two sets of tickets for my daughter. We never used the one we were required to buy through UCA. I wish the organizations putting on these events could figure out a way to...

Change of Pace - No Dining Plan, More Quick Service and few ADR's - March 2018

Arrival Day - Quick Service lunch at Roaring Fork and Dinner at Whispering Canyon I will start off and say I didn't plan this day very well, sigh. First day in and off to a bumpy start food wise. We arrived at MCO about 10:20 and were at the Wilderness Lodge by 11:15, much sooner than...

Change of Pace - No Dining Plan, More Quick Service and few ADR's - March 2018

We are usually creatures of habit but we changed things up in a big way on our most recent trip to WDW. In the past we have always had the Deluxe Dining Plan, have rarely eaten at Quick Service restaurants and always had ADR's booked well in advance. This time, we had no dining plan, few...
