POLL: Will You Take Advantage of the New CL FP+ Option?

Now that more info has been released and the pros and cons have been discussed at length in several threads, go ahead and answer the above:

    Finding nemo:the musical

I am with you 100%. While I am never going to sit here and proclaim that sitting in the theater is like reclining in a Lazy-Boy, I have never noticed that the Nemo Theater seats are any worse than Bear Jamboree, FoTLK, Beauty and the Beast, or numerous other venues.

Wanna buy a Fastpass? It will cost ya $50

Exactly. The original FP rewarded sweat. FP+ rewards staying on site (which is a variation of rewarding cash outlay to some extent). This new program unabashedly rewards financial success. The reason why I always preferred the original FP system was because everyone could take advantage of...

    Should I go!?

Look at it this way. If your cost is low, then you can have expectations that match. Don’t push yourself to do commando touring in the heat. Even if you just do a little bit each day and hang out in the pool more than you otherwise would, it will still be a lot of fun. Just being at WDW adjusts...

Is ITTBAB open during AM EMH?

According to Touring Plans it is. And their info is usually pretty current. But then again, so is yours. https://touringplans.com/animal-kingdom/attractions/morning-extra-magic-hour

Is ITTBAB open during AM EMH?

Yes it’s open but as you note, it seems like a poor use of time to sit in an empty theater for 20 minutes. Why not score an additional safari trip. Each ride is different.

    Winnie the Pooh Ride?

Agree. This is a classic example of how to put same day fast passes to use.

Wanna buy a Fastpass? It will cost ya $50

It seems as if some don’t like the idea that this offer is being limited just to CL guests and others don’t like the idea that some day it will be expanded to include everyone. If the day comes when the free 60 and 30 day windows still exist but can be “unlocked” at 90 days for a fee, and that...

Wanna buy a Fastpass? It will cost ya $50

I'm right there with you. I can pretend that this is an inequity unbefitting of Disney, but if I am being honest, if the cost of a CL room and this add-on were immaterial to my budget, i'd be on it like white on rice. Again, I agree. Once upon a time there was hand wringing that someday Deluxe...

    Finding nemo:the musical

I don't think that there is any attempt to "hide" the performers. We enjoy the quality of the singing and the afternoon break in the AC. Is it Disney's best show? No. Those would be Hunchback at DHS and Aladdin at Disneyland. But it's worth the time to sit, relax and cool off.

    No WDW Park Trip

My wife and I are doing something similar in April. 4 days/5 nights and we only have a single day ticket for Epcot to check out Flower & Garden for a day. Will probably check out the renovated Soarin' for the first time but otherwise no attractions. The rest of the time will be Boardwalk...

Wanna buy a Fastpass? It will cost ya $50

Assume a family of 4 staying at All-Stars for 5 nights at $150 per night and who buys 3 days worth of passes for each family member. Total cost of room plus extra FPs is $1,890. Now assume a family of 4 staying at a CL room for 5 nights at $600 per night and who buys 3 days worth of passes for...

Trial Club Level Fastpass+ Purchase Program Planning & Discussion

It's obviously too soon to know, but my sense is that the new Toy Story ride (which is a routine carnival spinning ride) will not be a tougher FP to obtain than TSMM. I would use your CL FP on TSMM and hope to pull one for the "other Toy Story ride" unless TSMM is a low priority for you.

Wanna buy a Fastpass? It will cost ya $50

Unless you were the one getting the freebies. As you posted earlier... Here, the vast majority of us didn't have that "natural strength" so we rejoice in the removal of that unfairness. But the people who got those freebies were delighted to pass others in line and are now no doubt thinking...

Wanna buy a Fastpass? It will cost ya $50

I found a website that listed the Disney CL number at around 750. But that didn't include the Swan and Dolphin, (the latter of which is a huge hotel), so I think the number is safely above 900. No matter. Well, if we assume that the new FPs are going to be minted from the clear blue sky, we...

Wanna buy a Fastpass? It will cost ya $50

Not challenging the ultimate conclusion of "no noticeable impact", but there are some other things to consider: By my count, CL rooms are about 3% of all rooms. (around 900 out of 30,800 total rooms). But that's not the main point. Which is.... These new FPs are not tiered and can be...

    Epcot....what happened?

Sort of gives a whole new meaning to:
  18. Magic_Man

Wanna buy a Fastpass? It will cost ya $50

Not a chance. Disney has invested an awful lot in explaining that the FP option is included in your basic admission price. There are literally hundreds of thousands of FPs used each day. No way would they change their entire business model and try to monetize all of that. While it is more or...

Anyone know why it's so busy right now?

Wouldn't that shift the attendance at all parks? What was observed yesterday was low crowds (relatively) everywhere except AK which had an almost peak crowd.

    Epcot....what happened?

Something to do with monorails, perhaps? If so, it's not a hefty endorsement of what Siemens does. :rotfl2:
