Fun things for characters to sign

We used a picture matte for autographs! It was a little awkwardly shaped carrying around the park with us. But using it to frame my favorite picture of my son on his first trip to Disneyland is so special.

    Disneyland Hit by Another Closure

I think Pooh Corner will be staying thankfully, but that left half will be re-themed to fit the new ride. I'm pretty bummed though because my family will be going to Disney on the 19th-21st of May. I doubt Winnie The Pooh will be open by that point. My son LOVES Pooh, so it'll be a pretty big...

April 2024 May 2024 check in thread & after dark events

We'll be there May 19-22. Just a quick trip for my birthday. :) The last birthday I celebrated there was my Sweet Sixteenth, 16 years ago haha. We'll be staying at the Del Sol for the first time, hopefully it'll be a nice stay with how close it is to the entrance.

    Thoughts on Del Sol Inn?

No worries! 😊 I’m glad this thread helped!

    Thoughts on Del Sol Inn?

The price at the Majestic is really the best option out of most hotels. Having to rely on a shuttle is not always the greatest, but having that option is definitely nice.

    Thoughts on Del Sol Inn?

Thanks for the info! I’m one of those people that’ll spend the entire day in the park, but that’s nice to know in case I chose to take a nap.

    Thoughts on Del Sol Inn?

Good to know! We’re flying and plan on just ubering to wherever we end up staying. I’ll keep that in mind to avoid the lobby haha.

What would be your prefect/dream dining reservations & quick serve for 5 days(or really any days)

Every time I visit, my two MUSTS that I need to eat at while I'm there are Blue Bayou and the Plaza Inn. While Blue Bayou is a more expensive dining experience, it's unique in that it's inside Pirates and has amazing atmosphere. I personally loved the Prime Rib last time I ate there, and their...

    Thoughts on Del Sol Inn?

Hey everyone! I'm hoping to plan a trip out to Disneyland for my birthday in May with my mom, sister, and my 1 year old son. I have a tendency to plan trips short notice, so renting DVC is usually out of the question in terms of staying on Disney Property for cheap. Last time I went, it was for...

Predictions on when Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open

I'm hopeful for September or October. With Haunted Mansion expected to be down for at least 7 months, I don't think they'll open it again til the next holiday season (We probably wont see the regular Haunted Mansion til 2025). To ease up on possible congestion on either one ride, it would make...

Here now…DL was a Disaster Today!!

I've heard it said that Mondays can feel like Saturdays a lot of the time. And being that it's a holiday today, it only added to the craziness. Sorry to hear that it was a bit of a let down! We're going next Monday, and I'm anxious about how crazy it'll be with it being the actual 100th...

Points for rent only: 137 June use year $18/pt with option to borrow more

I know this is a HUGE shot in the dark, but if you can check we have a trip booked 10/15-10/20 and I'm just curious if any Studio rooms at the new Disneyland Hotel Villas are available for 2 adults and an infant. Pricing it out point wise, it's relatively the same as our currently booked "good...

    El Nino

I personally wouldn't cancel the trip over possible rain. But that's just my opinion. Growing up in Orange County, I remember the weather stations always over exaggerating the weather conditions. I now live in CO and it's always funny to me when my CA friends post about how crazy the weather is...

October 16th actual 100th Anniversary - anything special planned?

Oh neat! We have a reservation at Disneyland for the 16th, so I'll be curious to see if anything happens. Since it's not a park anniversary, I definitely don't think it's advertised as much. And that's evident in the fact the there aren't currently any sold out days in October.

Downtown Disney food options - need a little help ya'll

We've always liked Tortilla Joes when we visit. We were recommended their champiñones on our first visit to the restaurant and they're an AMAZING addition to any meal if you like mushrooms.

Cancel October trip without Oogie tickets?

We're planning on going to the parks mid October and don't have tickets to the party. I've gone before when it was cheaper and back in Disneyland itself. Now it's just way too expensive for what you get in my personal opinion.
