Can anyone confirm that there are ice machines at comfort stations?

Awesome info thank you! Quarters are pain, I'm glad to hear you can swipe a CC. We'll be in a Preferred site, so the Meadows is a bit of a hike for ice.

“Camping” at Walmart the night before?

We drove down this past February and overnighted at the Cracker Barrel at 5400 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee. There were about 5-6 other RVs there, and we all rolled out by about 8 am. It was about 10 minutes from Disney property, and perfect for us. Last year we stayed at a Cracker...

What time do you get access to your site, in YOUR experience?

Arrived on a Sunday morning last February (day before President's Day) at around 9 am, and was given a choice of several 100 loop sites. I hope to be so lucky next weekend!!

Bicycles in Lieu of Cart for Fort Transportation

We camped in a preferred site last Feb and will be back this Feb. No cart. We used our bikes to get to the pool, and were able to easily walk to the boats. We preferred taking the boats to either the MK or the Contemporary and use their buses or monorail to get to other parks. We hated sitting...

Campsites and Disney Visa 0% financing

You should read the credit card agreement. Some cards apply payments to 0% deals first, others don’t. It should say on the promo materials or definitely on your card agreement.

Route from the Fort to MK?

We were on the 100 loop. We preferred an open air boat ride and then a bus transfer rather than a bus to bus transfer. We used the internal FW bus twice and it was extremely long waits and rides around all the FW loops. To each their own.

Route from the Fort to MK?

We felt like it was easier to boat to the Contemporary and catch one of their busses to AK or HS, or take the monorail to Epcot.

    AC Troubleshooting

Our compressor froze over while we were there. I was able to get on the roof, remove the shroud, and chip off the ice. Had to keep the fan on high after that, but it worked fine otherwise.

Booked preferred site for 2 weeks in Feb..

I agree with everything said above. 100 loop is close to boats, the restaurant, the Trading Post, and a comfort station. I liked hearing boat whistles. We had 108 this past February. It seemed extra long. Our door faced the creek, with a pretty big open space between us and the water. We loved...

I’m currently enjoying a lovely little fire in the TFP in the 100 loop! Many thanks to Eyeeore for keeping the flame alive!

Driving with TT-stop over recomendations and tips needed

We just drove down last weekend from Mass. Stopped night one in southern NJ at a Pilot/Flying J. Night two near Daytona at a Cracker Barrel. We were traveling FOR the destination, NOT to enjoy the journey!

    Map with site numbers?

I'm pretty sure I've seen a map with individual campsite numbers rather than just loop numbers... was it on this board somewhere? I have a preferred site reserved, so I'm interested in loops 100-300.

    Backing into Preferred

There seems to be quite a few sites/loops that present backing in challenges, especially with long trailers. I’m wondering if people generally have any trouble backing in a motorhome (28 ft) in the Preferred loops?

Having a hard time staying excited after reading so many terrible reviews on here

Ignore other people’s reviews. Some people can never be pleased, others are happy with the most basic Mac n’ cheese. You’re in WDW, enjoy it for what it is.
