    Do real men eat quiche?

We both eat quiche, and no emasculating devious women in sight. Then again, we're gay so maybe that proves the point. LOL

What were the biggest shocks for you when you first moved out of your parents?

I was shocked how quickly my parents moved on. I called from the airport when I arrived in Boston and they had already changed my room into an office.

Have you ever been sick or injured on vacation? (not Covid)

I got amoebic dysentery while touring India when I was young It was kind of scary. I seriously lost about 30 pounds in a couple days (every ounce of water weight I had)--like my face looked different. I was travelling with a Dutch nurse at the time and he hooked me up with the right...

Stay at Universal or Hop to Disney???

We went about that time of year the year before last. We stayed at the Royal Pacific for a week did four days at Universal a day at SeaWorld and the MVMCP at Disney World. It was an amazing trip and the price for the holiday party is less of a shock than when you have to compare it to adding...

Would you date someone like yourself?

When I was dating I would have jumped at the chance to date someone like me--not if they were the opposite sex, of course. 😉 Who knows, though; maybe it wouldn't have worked out. In many ways my husband and I are quite different.

Investment banker. Went for the first time about four years ago when I was 45 and was surprised how much I loved it. We've been back to WDW once since and been to DisneyLand for the first time since. We'd planned to be in WDW in a couple weeks and cancelled. We're looking at Paris Disney in...

    Anyone else hate open-plan architecture?

My husband would like to do that in our home. My issue isn't really too much visibility. It's needing walls to put stuff on/against. I like bookcases and paintings and shelving in general. Most of our large walls are floor to ceiling window. If we start knocking out internal walls I just...

What type of housing would you not want to live in?

I guess I could do any of them if I had to, but I would certainly prefer to avoid: Anything rural and probably even suburban--I'm just a city guy. Frankly, I don't think I would want a freestanding house--it just seems like so much work. And certainly nothing with wheels.

What sounds do you commonly hear coming from outside your home?

Emergency vehicles occasionally. Not much else. We're on the 18th floor. Something has to be pretty loud to hear it from the ground.
