Thanks, all! I ended up booking through Disney. Costco was just a little too clunky and with Disney I could enter in all our pax info ahead of time. It made for a smoother booking process. I got one of our top choices and of course am second-guessing my cabin choice, but all in all, very happy...
We’re first timers, so can’t book until tomorrow for Summer 2024. We have a Costco Executive membership and I see that you can book online with Costco (including seeing, I think, live availability). Has anyone tried this on opening day (general public)? Any tips? I know I can also book through...
First time DCL cruiser here...and really first-timer on a large cruise ship (have been on smaller regional cruises before). We're preparing for a Summer 2024 voyage - June or July. Two adults, 1 child (10). I would love any guidance as we try to prepare the best we can before schedules and...
Going July 15-19 (with park days July 16,17,18) and staying at the Tropicana. So excited! I think we’ve had reservations since August... Defintely nervous about crowds this time around.
So we decided Mid-July with 3 day Park Hoppers & Max Pass. Used our Chase Ultimate rewards to book a package at Tropicana and park tix. Wish we could add a couple of character meals, but they aren’t offering that with 2019 packages (yet?). Excited, but nervous...I hate crowds, heat and have zero...
Definitely watching this thread. We’re making our reservations for July 2019 this week, I think. We can go any days of the week, but dh only wants to go 3 and not park hop, and I want 4 with hopping. So we’re ironing out our differences, lol. I feel I have decision fatigue trying to make the...
Aw man, I just had the highest of highs and lowest of lows in only a matter of a few minutes. I found out my family would be able to go to the Oct 12 party (woo hoo) and then saw that the date is the only one sold out so far (boo hoo). What’s the chance of me finding tickets (for 3-8 people)...
So, just in your defense, I definitely had a CM say this to us when meeting Oswald (a month ago). We weren't looking for him we were just in the same time & place as he was. He interacted with us for a bit, though it was lost on my dd (3) who embarrassingly said, "Bye Mickey Mouse!" as we were...
I haven’t been since the rope drop moved, but a month ago as we headed toward PP first thing, a CM offered to park our stroller for us. It was glorious! Of course, all my anticipation for introducing this magical ride to my toddler was completely squashed when she freaked out and cried the...
We did 10:40 earlier this month and it worked out great. They didn't rush us. And we saw about 8 characters (Minnie, Tigger, Eeyore, Max, Fairy Godmother, Captain Hook, Dale, Rafiki). We had MM at 7:00 am at DL, so the timing really worked for us.
These were all such great recommendations! Of course we didn't end up using any delivery services, lol. There was a small convenience store at the hotel next door (the Cove @ Tropicana), and I just used the stroller to pick up a large thing of water and some bare necessities and convenience...
Water's a good one! Though we should probably just bring our refillable bottles.
I'm not sure about snacks, yet. I'd like to keep it healthy-ish, but my dd is picky (and inconsistent). I do kind of want to just snack through the day. So early am snack, late breakfast to bridge between lunch and...
Hi! We're making our list for Amazon Prime Now and trying to think of different things we may want or need for both our hotel stay (off-site) and in the parks. There's 3 of us (2 adults and a toddler).
So far we have disposable plates/towels/cutlery; fresh fruit; some breakfast items.
We're...
You can go without a member, but they need to make a reservation for you. There are limits on how many invitations they can give per year. The inviting member is taking a risk with every invitation, because if the guest misbehaves the membership can be revoked.
I believe the only attraction I haven't tried at Disneyland are the canoes. My understanding was that they usually just run on weekends or during the summer, but I saw them running on a Monday in November a few weeks ago (Thanksgiving week). What are the chances they'll be running mid week the...
