not sure how long you will stay, but if you are there in the evening hours, you can see fireworks from the esplanade. Just make sure it’s a day fireworks are showing, not just projections.

I went on Super Bowl Sunday back in 2019. It rained that day. It wasn’t overly busy, but for sure not low crowds. I think people who don’t care about football or the teams playing probably go to the parks lol

Also not the OP but October is very busy. I would check the app on the weeks and days leading up to your trip to get an idea of how the parks are.

That early in the morning parking should be fine. You can go into the garage and wait for the booths to open. Other cars will probably be there.

5:50am or 6am. I live a little south of SM and leave at 6am when I want to do rope drop. Parking opens at 7am. Check traffic conditions day of.

I watched the first showing of fantasmic on 9/10. I did walk up. Around 8/8:15 they have everyone stand and scoot in so more space opens up. Tricky part is to not have your view blocked. Yes it got busier with fireworks! But nothing out of the ordinary with typical fireworks crowds. Fireworks were great!

Yeah the hottest I saw today was 96 when I looked at my watch. The other day when I was checking Anaheim was 101. I’ll take 5 degrees less lol

I’ve been here all day today. It is hot but doable. Drink lots of water and walk in shade/AC whenever possible. Crowds are actually not bad. The heat may have scared people off. Maybe tonight will be busy with fireworks.
