I believe if you are using CDs at an outside venue you may need to rent a sound system. Not sure on the pricing on that but FantasiaSam did that for her YCG wedding. I have heard the violin on some videos and I think it sounds lovely, they really do a great job of recreating the songs.

Ummangel, it sounds as though the $5000 you were quoted is for an intimate pakcage. All these tips were designed for saving money on custom weddings, which aren't a package as the intimate is. If you can't afford a FTW intimate you may be better off looking into other options such as the Swan.

Well, have they sent you any catering sample menu's yet? Those are a great place to start, you can pick out items and mix and match to create your own custom menu.
