    Joy, Sadness and Baymax

I totally get it, I have just learned the hard way that end of the day for characters doesn't work at least in my experience. I think you would be okay if you did EMH at the beginning of EMH but characters usually close before the end of the evening. As I mentioned, when we were staying at AKL...

    Joy, Sadness and Baymax

I tried about 20 minutes before park close and they had already shut off the line, met someone on a bus who had a less than wonderful experience similarly trying to go during Evening EMHs it is a pain to wait but I personally would not suggest trying to do any characters at closing

Which resort for a baby and a toddler if you want a slower paced trip?

CR was everything with my 2 year old nephew the ability to walk back from MK any time of the day when he need a nap or for anything else The pool os nice and basically deserted during the day or was when we were there. Also both the 2 year old and the 5 year old loved just going and watching the...

    Breakfast suggestions- morning of departure.

they did change it back to 3 hours. I had a great experience at the Wave and have only done lunch at Kona but if it was my last day I would probably do Kona for the mimosa flight alone. I agree on the uber though trying to do multiple buses seems like too much time to spend on getting to and...

    Polynesian?

I can honestly say I have never been anywhere that was more consistent and took food allergies as seriously as Disney. They also have a process in place. The chef will always (at least in my experience) come out ask you questions and then they prepare things accordingly. Have a great time and...

    Polynesian?

I have a nut and coconut allergy and ate at both SOA and Ohana when we were there in December my suggestion would be if you can eat at only one place go with Ohana, the noodles there are great plus there is the salad that comes at the beginning of the meal and great veggies too. You won't be...

Where to dine on my birthday?

I feel like this depends on a lot of things like what park you want to be at (if any) and what your plans are for the rest of the day. If it were me I would leave the boys with their dad to do rides and go get a blow out and/or mani pedi at the spa at the Grand Floridian and then have the boys...

Having a hard time staying excited after reading so many terrible reviews on here

Stayed at the Poly in December and was genuinely sad when we had to pick up and move to AKL for the rest of our split stay, as far as I am concerned the resort is still magic. While we were there we ate at both Ohana and Kona and had great food and experiences at both. At Ohana my nephew(5)...

Talking Mickey leaving Town Square theater

I am so saddened by this news it was truly one of the most magical experiences I have had at Disney, I understand the money but what about the magic

Sci-Fi Drive in Theatre or 50's Prime Time?

usually most of the servers play off the energy of the group and they have their opening set up thing where I am sure they are able to gauge who is in to it and who is not. It is part of the what they do there though so if you think it is going to be a big issue you may want to reconsider.

Sci-Fi Drive in Theatre or 50's Prime Time?

Both have pros and cons we go to both almost every trip and I think a case could be made for either one, it comes down to preference and age group IMO. If you are mainly adults and are interested in cocktails I would say Prime Time, you can go and have a drink at the bar while you are waiting...

Made a mistake on 'Ohana reservation

I will start this post by saying that for sure YMMV but for what it is worth when we were there last month (Dec 13th to 18th) I went to the concierge and asked them to help see if they could find an Ohana reservation for our party of 5, I said even if you can find one for a party of 4 I can hang...

    News Round Up 2018

Every time I do DME it is different, I have to say though this last time we did it was with the 4 hours and I was dreading it but it actually worked out almost perfectly in our case. We did airline check in etc so all we had to do was get through security and get to our gate. With stopping in...

Thank you Tim at the Wave!

On this last week we had nothing but awesome cast member interaction everywhere we turned however one stands out more than all the rest which was Tim at the Wave. I had to cancel our reservation for Ohana as there was just no way our group was going to be up and ready in time so I moved it to...

    Those using swagbucks ???

when I did a $100 dollar paypal (the largest one I have done) I think it took 3 or 4 days but when I have done smaller ones like 25 it is usually next day so yes? I thought that it was just because it was paypal but maybe it was the larger amount
