Coronado Springs La Vida Health Club gym q?

Right, it is small and basic as I ended up finding out. But that worked out just fine. Good enough to not fall off the fitness wagon during a vacation! There were times when there were a handful of other people in there and it became hard to get on things, but most of the time (I'd go around...

Coronado Springs La Vida Health Club gym q?

The trip I was asking about this for has already passed ( *sob* ) but the Coronado gym ended up being pretty decent. Just really small. I can see it being hard to do anything in there if it's a busy season. Gotta find those times when no one is there. I'll most definitely be checking out Satuli...

    CABANA BAY BEACH RESORT Thread..........

Stayed here in May and can't say a bad thing about it. Amazing atmosphere, could just have fun walking around the hotel looking at the decor. Also, the gym is probably the best resort gym I've ever seen. I'm a WDW person all the way who occasionally does Universal, and I have to say, the gym...

    Anxious about Gringotts? Try it!!!

When we went in May, my dad sat out and I so wish he didnt. He loves Harry Potter but isn't big on thrill rides, and somewhere in the park it was described as a "roller coaster" so that was a red flag to him. I told him he would have enjoyed it but by the time we got out, the line was outsane...

    Universal vs Disney dining costs

We're used to Disney too but went to Universal in May for the first time in about 15 years. We only did counter service but omg, the prices made Disney look like the Red Cross. OBSCENE prices for not a whole lot of food. We ate at Comic Strip Cafe on Islands side, but when browsing around, we...

What does everyone think of Fast & Furious Supercharged?

I tried it in May and was impressed by the presentation. To me, it felt unique in the way it worked, with screens all around the vehicle instead of just in front of you. But you're right, way too short, especially considering the big build up with the pre-shows etc.

    Which park?

I was kind of in the same boat as you when I went to Florida in May. We go to Disney every year but I hadn't been to Universal in about 15 or so. I have to say I enjoyed the Studios side a lot more than Islands of Adventure. Better food options, in my opinion, and more diverse in attractions...

The "If I could bring back 1 thing @ WDW" game

One thing I'm surprised no one said is DisneyQuest. They let it become outdated (past time i was there in 2016, they still had signs to advertise the chance to buy a VHS of your Cyberspace Mountain ride), but there was something genius about the concept. I don't know about ya'll but my kids...

The "If I could bring back 1 thing @ WDW" game

I miss all of that too. In a broader sense, you could say I miss WDW acting like they give a crap about Epcot :-/ I'll always love it - it's my favorite - but they've let things get kinda sad when you really look around. I mean, jeez, have you been in Innoventions at all in the past few years?

The "If I could bring back 1 thing @ WDW" game

Aww yeah that was a great one. I always loved picking my ending at the end.

The "If I could bring back 1 thing @ WDW" game

Urrrgghhh I miss it too. So, so much. Things get taken up soo fast now. You need to plan like several years in advance to get a Flight of Passage FP.

The "If I could bring back 1 thing @ WDW" game

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride was awesome. It had the most uncharacteristic Disney ending ever. To me, that's what made it standout.

The "If I could bring back 1 thing @ WDW" game

I hadn't been to Country Bears in years until last month. I was surprised the energy was so high in there. When "Blood on the Saddle" queued up there was an eruption of applause followed by a sing along. GReat moment

All great ones. I think I still have my Skippy stuffed animal somewhere!

The "If I could bring back 1 thing @ WDW" game

Yess that was awesome. They still play the WAYLA, AH-WAYLA WAYYYLA song, but just as exit music after Illuminations wraps up. I still love Epcot, always will, but I scratch my head at the decisions Disney has made regarding that park. I can't go so far as to say they've let it become a shell of...

The "If I could bring back 1 thing @ WDW" game

WOW! I forgot all about that one! That was great. As soon as I read your response, that fresh smell that whiffed in your face on the ride came back to me.

The "If I could bring back 1 thing @ WDW" game

Yess, Pleasure Island was great - and I never even got to enjoy it as an adult! It's still a head scratcher to me as to why they did that and not replace it with anything that even comes close. Disney Springs is great, but the entertainment/party factor has been minimized. WDW definitely needs a...

The "If I could bring back 1 thing @ WDW" game

I felt compelled to write a nostalgic Walt Disney World post about some attraction or place that isn't there anymore. Then I thought that'd be pretty boring and it'd probably be hard to write about something that hasn't been over-done already. So, then I thought, let's make it a game! If you're...

Guest experiences with daily room checks

Stayed at Coronado Springs May 20-31. Never once got walked in on, and we never even used the Occupied hanger. However, we aren't in the room a whole lot - our by 8:30AM daily at the latest, back for a quick refresher for about an hour in the afternoon and out again all night.
