How early can you realistically make it from AKV to MK on the first bus out?

First week of May we were in the first bus out and walked through the gates about 7:15

This! When I do run in the rain, I have my visor and put my phone in a bag like others suggested. If it’s going to be a heavy rain, I’ll wear just retired running shoes instead of my newest pair.

    Marathon Weekend 2022

Poly & AKV booked for MW 2022! 🤞 SAFD: There are so many and they all blend together that I cant remember which trips they happened. Our youngest was 7 months old when we first went to Disney. Counting our Disney cruise we have been 7 times and he is 4 years old 😳. So a few of my favorites: -...

QOTD: What is your current running routine? Days/week? Targeting monthly mileage? Following a training plan? Morning v. Evening? 7 days a week! I've got my 2021 km goal for the year so I need to do 3.5 miles a day. Since it is only January, I'm sticking to the every day plan no matter what...

When I find something I like I do try to buy it again. Most of the time, it's discontinued but I have a hard time justifying buying a lot up front. I'm more particular about my brand/type of summer running clothes than my winter. I found some sports tanks at Walmart that I love but of course I...

That's a great idea! I was going to try for 1500 miles because I should easily hit 1000 for this year but I don't think I could hit 2021 miles. I like the idea of trying for 2021 km. I might start with that goal and then move to 1500 miles if I hit it early. I just learned of it a couple of...

First, CONGRATULATION! I know that sense of accomplishment after finishing your first half. Mine was in January 2019. Since that one was a Disney and more “for fun”, I ran my second one in April that year for time. I also got my first leg cramps in a race. I honestly don’t know why. They haven’t...

Please note: What I’m about to state is my own personal preference in regards to myself and my own running goals. I in no way mean to offend anyone that might think differently. I briefly considered registering for Dopey, one of the marathons, or the Castaway Cay Challenge. Then I decided that...

YQOTD: I recently purchased a ALOVECO Outdoor Night Running Light for my biweekly 4am hill runs. I also wear a reflective vest. The light was purchased to help me be seen as well as to help me see. I’ve used it twice and it works great for what I need. QOTD: I really don’t know that my next big...

ATTQOTD: I started running for 2 reasons - one, to lose weight and two, to have some “me time”. No one wanted to go with me ;) I haven’t lost near the weight I would like but I have lost some. I’m definitely in better shape. I still run for my “Me time”. Occasionally my oldest will join me but...

    Marathon Weekend 2021

SAFD: Our favorite time is end of November very early December. January fits in there quite well, too. We quite enjoyed early May one time and plan to do that again 2021. We’ve done a July resort only trip and had a blast. The bulk of our time was in the pool! We’ve done September and we’re...

ATTQOD: I’m another one on the c25k train. I did start it and finish it 4 times with repeating the more difficult weeks in the midst of each one. It wasn’t until that 4th time that I kept running once winter set in. I eventually connected with Dopeybadger to get a plan for longer distances. I...
