campground reservations modifications changes in the works starting Oct 2022 to ???

Just tried to make a change to our reservation for November. I've had a work trip pop up and needed to drop the first 10 days from our planned month-long stay. Have escalated it all the way up the chain that I can and there are no allowed changes to any reservations in November or December...

    The return of annual passes

Yup. And you have the added benefit hassle of needing park reservations, and park hopping is still limited to after 2pm. I'm hoping that there is still a DVC discount as that's often not shown on the main pass page, but I'm still disappointed.

    The return of annual passes

Gold to Sorcerer goes up nearly $200 and there's no PhotoPass and no additional access to the fast pass revamp. The value proposition here is pretty poor. Looks like they really are trying to decrease the number of passholders, by reducing the value and still requiring purchases of Genie+, etc.

Happy Pride Month everyone, I have a question

Writing to say that we've only ever done the Luau at Aulani, so can't add anything here. But hopefully the bump helps someone see this who can advise.

    WDW 50th Anniversary LGBTQ Gathering?

We are going the week after and staying at the Polynesian. Looking forward to the events, but definitely decided to avoid going on the 1st.

*** Bay Lake Tower Owners Group***

I've noticed this too. On our last stay at BLT, the bathroom was in desperate need of some upkeep. I think they're not doing such a great job and general maintenance and relying too much on the refurb schedule. IF DVC sticks to the 14 year schedule then the refurb should start around 2023...

*** Bay Lake Tower Owners Group***

We love BLT, but have admittedly only stayed there twice despite owning the majority of our points there. The stays have always been lake views toward the inner courtyard. No complaints for any of it though. We're hoping TOTW is open when we return to WDW in October so we can stop by, though...

Just checked into Aulani (5/19/21) First observations.

We just got back and had a great time. We were a bit disappointed that some things weren't open, but it forced us to spend more time exploring the island instead of living at the resort. The vacation was just what the doctor ordered after a tough year. I think if you're prepared to not have...

    Pearl Harbor

Right now tickets are dropping at 3pm (local time) the day before you want to go. While they were saying 3pm it was more like 305 or 310. It's better to have a recreation.gov account before hand and be signed in at 3pm to keep refreshing the page. We were able to snag a 10am trip out to the...

    Aulani Luau

We just returned and attended the Luau on May 25th. We attended back in 2019, and have to say that this version was preferable. We were in preferred seating and because we were a party of two were in the front row. We were chatting with the cast during the food service which helped with our...

The Rainbow Lounge - LGBT Chit Chat

@WinnieFurRV and @Luxurious_Lumiere I would highly support a LGBTQ+ camping thread. My husband and I are headed down in our RV for the week after Thanksgiving and we are super excited to be headed back to Disney. The Fort is one of the few places that Disney lets guests express themselves with...

The Rainbow Lounge - LGBT Chit Chat

It really just depends on what you want for your vacation. If you’re here to enjoy the parks, you’ll have a better time during the second week. If you want loads of parties and opportunities to meet new people the gay days week will work. Personally, I’d go for the second week, but it’s totally...

Is there an unofficial LGBT hangout spot on property?

Just tried the Wave for the first time this week and I couldn’t agree more. Could be a great gay bar night location.

So, did anyone buy a rainbow Mickey magic band?

I’ve been trying to get one for our next reservation but it’s practically impossible. They appear to be very popular.

Hey everyone! We are headed down for the Fourth of July and staying at Bay Lake Tower. Besides the fireworks, is there anything we shouldn’t miss

Is there an unofficial LGBT hangout spot on property?

I’m thinking it should probably be in Disney springs to allow people not staying on property easier access to parking. While I love the Wave and Abacadrabar, Parking could be an issue. Either that or there is a rotating schedule. Note: Sweet Caroline is a terrible ear worm that I picked up...
