No ADR for Chef Mickey's this a.m. Try anyway?

Thanks everyone! I decided not to risk it so we made a last minute 1045 reservation for Cape May Cafe instead. My 2.5 y/o son had not met those characters yet - Minnie, Goofy & Donald - and he had a great time. He was laughing like crazy and Goofy came 3 times to see him. Plus, we loved the...

No ADR for Chef Mickey's this a.m. Try anyway?

My sister has a reservation for 9 this morning, 1055. She was unable to modify to 13--there are 4 of us. I also called and no go. She said we could show up early to request a table but there's no way of knowing. What do you think? Any success for Chef Mickey's breakfast on standby?

single rider line with a 2-year-old?

Not really, because I won't be going on any of the ones with height requirements anyway - as I mentioned, I'm pregnant. There are not many of them at all with height requirements. The only one he'd have to go on alone is Barnstormer, and I plan to skip Stitch anyway as I've heard it's not very...

single rider line with a 2-year-old?

Where to stay for $500/wk in summer?

Airbnb has a million options. We have a 3BR with awesome amenities for $443 including everything - taxes, cleaning fee etc. - for 4 days. There were countless other options that were cheaper - maybe a bit smaller but great amenities, close to Disney, etc. Don't overthink it, just get on airbnb!

single rider line with a 2-year-old?

yes guys, i got it, thanks. and all of the disney rides are low key, except for the few obvious exceptions like space mountain and the mine ride and a couple of others at most. i will be able to ride everything with him and he LOVES rides. not sure what one of the posters above was talking about.

I will be alone with my toddler. Can I use this lane or not? I can only find answers online about much older kids.

Cool places to eat in Orlando

Thanks for the tips! I swapped out our dinner reservation for Chef Mickey's for a breakfast at Crystal Palace the next day, in favor of checking out dinner at Toothsome. I NEED to try one of those crazy shakes.

How long does it really take to get to Disney resorts and parks?

From what I've read, it seems like people leave super early for the parks even though according to Google Maps the distances aren't too far from where I see they are staying. I don't know how congested things get and taking into account things like parking in massive lots, walking to a resort...

New to this...which would you cancel?

I wanted to do this but Chef Mickey's only has early times available -- like 7 something, no thanks. Perhaps if one opens up I'll do this. Thanks.

New to this...which would you cancel?

BTW, I checked and Garden Grove does have a late p.m. reservation, so we could go with that instead, but in the short description it only says "Buffet/Family Style" and omits "Character Dining," which the other ones like Garden Grill, Chef Mickey's, etc. have. Not sure why - I think because...

New to this...which would you cancel?

1900 I chose because it had desirable late morning times for us on our last day. The others only had really early a.m. times. Plus, I thought most of them do breakfast really well? I am big on Mary Poppins and I'm getting my son into it!

Two days in MK with toddler or split 1/1 with another park or waterpark?

This was exactly my thinking. Our resort has a ridiculously cool splash park and huge pool, playground, etc., and my son nor I can ride waterslides at the moment, so I think we'll wait on the waterparks till he's older. What sealed the deal was finding out that I'd not have to spend much more on...

Two days in MK with toddler or split 1/1 with another park or waterpark?

I am going to Disney with my in-laws, who are in their 70s/80s, and am a little worried that because of their slower pace we won't be able to cover too much in one day at MK. I was contemplating taking my 2.5 year old the first day just me and him, then going back the next day with them. This...

New to this...which would you cancel?

Thanks! You guys are helpful. I would do breakfast at chef Mickey's, but it's the day we get in, and I would rather take advantage of the mornings in the parks rather than in a restaurant since we have limited time. Last morning we have the breakfast because we are leaving after, driving down to...
